Southfield spring league,4th round 

In the late 1970's early 1980's Elton Res in Bury, Rudyard lake in Staffordshire were the venues to go to. Strange nobody from Yorkshire ever seemed to fish these matches. Also the big matches on the Lanky,Leeds Liverpool canals only a small numbers came over the hills. Why?

Urswick tarn ( Cumbria) was a great bream water in the 70’s and 80’s

Fished there Saturday and had about 40lb , had 1 skimmer and a hybrid at 50mtrs, everything else at 20mtrs
