@@nolantherailfan5048 Only because Southwest modified their -300's with the new wingtips in 2014. You can tell the difference because of the eyebrow windows above the cockpit.

@@MSPspotter6 You can also tell the difference on the part where the engine is attached to the wing. On the classic its more boxy while its all smoothed out on the NG and the MAX.

Southwest junked all -300 & -400 due to age and FAA mandate that they be disposed of. American Airlines did the same with their MD-80's aka Mad Dogs.

Finally a kid airplane enthusiast like me. Im 11 years old currently and nearing 12 years old myself haha! Anyways for my birthday trip back in august of ‘19 I flew my first flight ever from Charlotte to Washington DC on an Airbus a320. The flight back was on an an a320 as well. It was so surreal that I didn’t even get to fully appreciate the experience! I’m grateful that there were no crying babies on that flight! I really hope I can fly again soon!

I’m 15 and a big airplane enthusiast. I’ve flown on Southwest 300 before it was retired and it was such an amazing experience! I’ve never flown on the Max 8(coming from 2020 it’s now grounded by the FAA) but would’ve loved to.

Since Southwest has cancelled their 737 MAX orders, Southwest Airlines should order 737-900ERs and replace the 737 MAXs

The 737 MAXs are the worst planes ever and they should be retired

I think all of the -300s went to the desert for storage. Some will be scrapped while others will live on at other airlines.
