My preferred spot? My balcony! I currently live at the northern fringe of Munich and if 08R is in use then arrivals from eastern and southeastern directions make a parallel transition not far from where I live before turning and aligning with the runway. When working from home and enjoying lunch break there I first see a number of smaller planes before the big shadow comes in - the Emirates A380. Really a magnificent and huge plane. I was on Madeira years ago mainly for hiking. On one day I came by Pico do Facho east of Machico. There is a nice lookout with some picnic tables and you find yourself right at the approach to 23.
Yes that is a great spot on Madeira! I went there on my first trip. Sounds great about the placement of your balcony. If you can spot from the comfort of your home, all the better!
Nice video, as always! My favourite place for planespotting is in Innsbruck (LOWI). Planespotting there is very impressive, as you can walk up the mountains and watch the airplanes landing from above - awesome scenery 🙂
Gorgeous day in the Bay Area and not bad in LA. Your shots of Oakland and SF were amazing. I’ve flown Oakland to LA (either Burbank or LAX) probably over 50 times in the last 20 years or so. Southwest is generally very reliable, even if a little boring. Thanks for the great report!
And congrats you've won the amenity kit giveaway! Email me at Gabriel-at-airedition.com or message me on Instagram @gabeleigh and give me an address to send it to!
Awesome video again Gabe! I personally always go to the Polderbaan at Amsterdam Schiphol airport since you can get so close to the planes and can make some nice pics! Looking forward to your next video!
@@aireditionalso from P3 parking you get some great views depending on the active runways. (18L,27,09). You can reach that by going in the free shuttle bus which takes about 7 minutes and leaves from the main entrance/exit
Nice video ! That spotter place is definitely on my to-visit list ! Like the other comments, one of my favorite spotting place is Schiphol, and Frankfurt too, the trafic there is fantastic. At my place in Brussels we have 2 fantastic spotter plateforms, but the trafic is very quite compared to the majors european airports 😆 Keep this channel growing, your videos are always nice and interesting ! Merry Christmas Gabe 😉🎅
FRA but I really need to put this In-N-Out place on my list. I didn't know this boarding process at Southwest. Do you need to find your precise spot in the line so the passenger infront of you has a lower number and the one behind you has exactly one number higher? Thank you for a good video.
Thanks! You do technically need to find your specific spot but it’s fairly relaxed, usually just compare boarding passes with the people near you and get roughly in order.
While I have no love for Qatar and its airline, Cahill brings this stuff himself. If I ran the industry I would ban him from all airlines until he has had serious therapy. My opinion...I really don't care about anyone's opinions except Mr. Leigh.
