@@FunandGameswithTerry the torpedo boat line is definitely more meta and a lot of fun. I'm just glad that the Kiev has a successor that beats it. The Delny is at least worth playing in comparison to the khaba
I kinda gave up at Minsk, wasn't looking forward to Khaba. I think I'd still follow the torpedo boat line first personally, I'm already grinding the IJN gunboats.
I was kinda in a bruh moment for not grinding the Soviet DD's (since that would have been a free Tier X premium). Delny has made me change my mind after watching the review. I swear, the friendly Smolensk's name killed me XD Anyway, I stopped on the Gnevny and have begun plans to continue down this line. I just wanna get myself a GK first before I give it my full attention. Great video Terry, and hope for you a fast recovery.
I like Khabarovsk, I burned XP for the Artillery Plotting Room to boost gun range, but it nerfs torp range down to 4.3km…. Hoping they will give Khabarovsk an extra smoke once it becomes premium… she doesn’t need torps but 4.3km torps are somewhat useful … self defense or yolo-ing at end of match
@@rollerbunny5953 Yea Khaba's were something I hated facing (all Soviet DD's to be fair) these because well HE and stuff. Yea all in all, I still kind of wish I could have stopped on Tashkent at least, but I didn't. Still, it's good to know that Delny is worth the grind for.
I quite like Grozovoy, Delny feels a lot closer to both lines. Khaba always stood out a little, and especially with CCs in the game, open-water gunboating is a daunting prospect. Manoeuvrability is the only defence - or speed, if you're lucky
Great video for sure! But 4 seconds base reload? Me in my Friesland: hold my Jever beer... 😆😆 Im really afraid because of the smalland. If it has torps and a faster reload than the Friesland, it will be a huge problem. So they have to work out a way, to give her torps but don't match the Friesland reload, because Friesland has no torps, so it has to be the ship with lowest reload as destroyer...
The Soviet 130s hit quite a bit harder than the 120mm Bofors as well. Plus rapid reload, and more guns. Still, Friesland can be a fun one. We'll see how Småland turns out.
I was sort of waiting for the turret bug to be fixed, but doesn't look like that's ever going to happen. I might give it a try and do an honest review.
Ok I'm mad this is a rip off. So people with khaba get delny for free but didn't want to replace GK for preußen. I don't get it. I know there's some difference between this game and of version like the tier 3 or 4 Jap tech bb is a premium on PC and has a different Jap bb, Richelieu being a tech tree bb on PC, Helena being a tech tree ship on PC. Yes i have had a brief look on PC need to play more on it. But why the differences. Are they trying to turn out more profits with some events and not with others. And why isn't the money going to actual important stuff like fixing the torpedo and turret bugs or fixing the broken bots, and why all of this event bs with new lines. I miss the old days where they only events where for new premiums and events where you actually had a chance to get the ship and where new lines where just released and not this gambling stuff and months of waiting. one of the events i remember was when the Russian DD okhotnik (butchered) and it's sonar sweep with sea mine tokens that was fun battling to get sea mines from battle and didn't cost much to do a round of sonar sweep. Heck one event i did win was a giveaway for anshan i wish i could find the post for that event so i could get my very old acc back. But sorry for my rant and what not keep up the videos Terry
@@mikaminskas that sucks. At least it's still free ish by grinding. I had to unfortunately shell out my wallet for prueßen a ship i was highly anticipating for brawling and was at the time hoping it was going to replace gk and then blitz did a whole money grab. Is the Russian gun boats worth the grind? Im looking for another line to grind that has a brawler/aggressive style of play
@@stormeel369 for me they are definitely worth it :) i enjoyed every ship from this line even before torp buff(5.4 update). Kiev and Trashcan are awesome boats.
