the fall of Soviet Union was the biggest disaster even happened in human history. Reforms should have only happened within the system without allowing the whole system to fall apart.

@Sebastian Guevara in the west anyone can bark as hard as he wants as long as he/she is not a treat to their system or to the interests of the big bankers and billionaires, otherwise,... on the other hand I am not too sure how the Soviet music and food was inferior to rap music and MacDonald’s burgers.
@@daniellong2543 Actually, that's not entirely true, if we lived in Stalin's era maybe yes but after stalin things were much much better, even better than today's Russia
@HairyArmpitLover Natural Beauty Where is Andropov ? He was a full member of the politburo from 1967 and was de facto second in command after Brezhnev.
22:07 for the making of the post-revolutionary consciousness in a new socialist man, with the on-going success of the glorious ninth social plan of the Soviet Union!
I think Karl Marx had Western Europe and indeed the developed economies of the Western World in mind when he was working on Kapital, not backward Russia and Eastern Europe (economically). Still, if you're going to celebrate, do it in style, as is depicted here. It's like an Olympic Opening Day ceremony! Workers of the world unite...

I am anti-commie and every time I watch 1 May events with those decadent hippies in their birkenstocks I become more anti-commie. Then I saw THIS 1 May event and I started feeling Red.
I can only imagine though what Brezhnev must have thought when those portraits of Communist leaders went by on the floats. "There better not be any damn Stalin images in there...or of Mao". For both nations being Communist, the nasty relationship Mao and Brezhnev had truly is shocking.
Think of the world Russians live in now. No hope of a better future. Just the eternal promise that death for the motherland leads to a hole in the ground. Once upon a time you were comrades. I mourn your lack of moral compass.
I mean... this video is exactly what is f'cked up with communism. It says a lot about a State's priority to take the time of tens of thousands of workers to learn a choreography for one day every year. Also, the fixation with kids these guys have is just astonishing. Good historical footage though.
The ussr spent money to showcase the unity of humanity and the working class against imperialism war and oppression and the United States spent that same money bombing vietnam
The US didn't tell poor and native american citizens that they were disposing nuclear waste right next to their towns for decades, and allowed the crew of "The Conqueror" to film over top of a nuclear test site.
Great treasurer to civilisation lost. Glory to USSR it gave Africa support to fight Imperialist . We were freed by USSR. American and British profits driven Democracy and Capitalism is taking us backwards. We wish Russia great Victory
Their cars were good for the era that were made. Some of them in some countries were considered luxurious and of course some of them it could be luxurious for people in western countries too with the same many they would buy a western european car with a bad quality, especially some of their 1960s cars
