In retrospect, the Cold War was a blast. Da, tsovarich? Sorry about the Quarry in Kandahar in '84. Sorry about all those Migs on that cargo ship a few months later. Oops. My bad. Sorry about the "Hydroelectric Dam" incident with the lightning hitting the ordnance truck that really really shouldn't have run up an antenna on the top a big open hill. Sorry. Sorry about raiding all your documents that you sent for destruction but which got lost when the Berlin Wall came down rather unexpectedly quickly. Sorry about hijacking your broadcast signal and sending out the 'Stand Down' order. But you did some very naughty things too, Nikita. So.

Ah, the Cold War days were quite something, weren't they? Those were intense times for sure. As for Kandahar in '84 and the MIGs, well, things happen in the fog of conflict. And the 'Hydroelectric Dam' incident-yeah, that was a bit of a mess. Sorry about intercepting those documents during the fall of the Berlin Wall and the broadcast hijack too. Crazy times indeed. No hard feelings, right?
