If you’re like me you’ve been working with the soy wax 464 for a while and not getting the results you wanted.
One simple trick we found is to mix the fragrance oil at a much lower temperature ( 150-160 F ) than typically recommended.
You always hear that mixing the fragrance oil at 185F is the optimal temperature to get the oil and the bond to wax. We’ve noticed the 464 wax takes so long to cool down, that if we add it to hot the fragrance is burning off because the cooling period is much longer than other waxes.
