As part of our interventions in the soybean sector in Kenya, 2SCALE in partnership with Equatorial Nut Processors Ltd is enhancing the resilience of smallholder soybean farmers to increase production and enhance their livelihoods. This is led by 2SCALE partner- Anglican Development Services Western Kenya (ADS-WK).
Soybean value addition and access to affordable and nutritious soybean products to Base of the Pyramid consumers is a resultant ripple effect of increased production by these farmers.

Empowering Small Holder Farmers at the grassroots level through value addition and creating an environment where they themselves look for markets with a focus on the Base of the Pyramid consumers is the new frontier in the community development work. Embracing inclusive agribusiness approach through private sector development is an adds on towards sustainable interventions. This is the ‘business unusual’ approach that 2SCALE is using that leaves an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of these farmers.
