@@phill.adam...555 When the mayor raises or lowers taxes the STATE decided he does so for the whole island. When he increases pay or effectiveness of jobs he also affects jobs outside the main city of LS, which the STATE gave him the power to do. When he changes housing tax the STATE decided to include houses outside of LS. When people from outside of the city pay taxes, utilities, etc guess where it goes? How is that not the STATE giving him jurisdiction over the affairs of those institutions outside of LS? Even gas prices are island-wide. Why did the STATE give his mayoral powers over the sliders an island wide effect if the intent isn't for him to have power outside the city?

@@Chriswastaken123 To some property owners those people were no different than squatters since they didn't pay the bills. But you are right. It wasn't the same. It was actually a good thing to protect people who didn't get paid because of losing/being unable to work at that time. So many of those landlords wanted to evict people it was crazy.
