😢Det gorde jag med...nästan från början till slut av lyckan, att hon hittade alla och hadde bra resan❤Alla var så rara mot henne och hon är så fin Sofia och söt pojken hon har❤
In Korea they got this honor, guilt and shame culture. Thats why they keep asking for apology to save the familys face. Eaven though Sofia tells them its ok that they dont need to feel sorry it's so based in culture they cant stop feeling they did wrong. So they carried guilt for adopting her for a realy long time. Thats also why they keep rambling this mantra about to please her parents. In Korea the worth of family is eaven more large then the individual members of the family. There are manny social rules in korea that seem strange in the western world. But i belive koreans woud think ours are perculiar too.
It's selfish though. The goal should be to enjoy the time and be happy rather than crying about the past. (I will cut some slack since it seems to be a not planned meeting and somewhat of a surprise.)
@@HKim0072 Western culture is the most "selfish" if any. Not to say its bad or worst in all cases, but I dont see how being sorry for what one caused their daughter is being selfish- quite the opposite
@@user-wq9mw2xz3j Because there is enough baggage being adopted and having more emotional burden is unnecessary. And, any American reunion is more party like atmosphere and everyone is beaming about finding each other. Might be a few sniffles, but everyone is overjoyed. My bio family was very careful with me. No one cried and most of the emotion was left out of it. Almost like they were entertaining a tourist rather than a kid they hadn't seen in decades. Like I said, I'll cut them some slack. I met my aunts and uncles first and didn't go to Korea until 6 months later. Everyone had more time to process it.
