Yes, it's a nice idea but I see few problems.The Waterway jets and those alike , can slightly rotate out of level when glued. The assembly should be set up on the rebar, the form, whatever, LEVEL. Then you glue the jet bodies and make the sure they are plumb. Otherwise the jet will not be coming out of the shot level and the result is a jet pointing up or down-not straight. Besides it looks like **** when the interior finish is completed around the niche.The niche/trim piece should be glued after the water line tile is complete to ensure the face is flush when the plaster or possibly tile in an all tile spa. A good inside pipe cutter is required to cut the 2.5" PVC pipe. Besides the gunite/shotcrete will destroy the pristine niches even when taped up.Lastly, the most important aspect is the introduction of the water and the air shown in one spot. The water and the air line should be brought in 2 points, referred to as looped plumbing, to ensure even distribution of air and water to each jet. This shown assembly will result in stronger water and air to the jets closest to the point of introduction.The second point should be opposite the first point to achieve even distribution. Generally, the main water supply line is larger than the 2" manifold. 3" sometimes 4" depending on the distance and the number of jets.I'm guessing the air line (pointing straight up) will not have a separate air blower on this job but a spa side air control. A Hartford Loop is required when using a separate air blower.All in all it's a nice kit. The points I mentioned can be addressed in the field on site and still keep the assembly time to a minimum.
