Over the August Bank Holiday of the 26th - 28th the Spa Valley Railway hosted their main event to celebrating 20 years since the line was re-opened to Groombridge on 23rd August 1997.
To celebrate the anniversary, the railway ran no less than five locomotive(two steam and three diesels) in action on a intensive timetable as well brake van rides at Groombridge during the three days and also the DEMU in action on Sunday only.
