Space, Aliens & Other Worlds Theme Halloween Props 

Wow you brought the shock and awe on this one Fraidy. I love everything. You outdid yourself this time lol. I cannot wait to see how everything turns out.

Well Fraidy, I just have to say what you are doing is awesome on every level! That alien spider, just wow! How did you pull that off I must know! You must share your secrets! I love what you did with using the cup idea from my necron prop, I had never though of using it to make the actual laser beams! What an awesome idea! See this is why I love prop making, everyone takes what they see and repurposes it and then expands the use to things you never thought of yourself and slowly over time every single thing you come across in a store becomes a "I know what that would be awesome as" moment. Thanks for sharing and am looking forward to seeing the War of the worldsesqe ship with laser beams all finished, but make sure it doesn't get cold, wouldn't want it catching a flu! I hear that didn't go to well the first time around! You put so much into your builds, and I am so happy you share it with us! Keep up the awesome work!

I am watching and all I am hearing is the crack of the bat as you hit another one out of the park!!! Besides great set design you can add mind reading to your resume… LOL. I have had in mind an alien theme for some time (have we chatted about that briefly before? 🤔) I hope to someday implement it but keep getting sidetracked. It is one of two that I hope to someday display. Love the nod to “When Mars Attacks!” Keep posting videos. I am in the process of setting up to make a video or two. I keep doing projects but it seems time constraints have prohibited me from capturing the events. And then there’s the real slayer of time… Editing… I have lots of questions and will have to ask later as no time at the moment to type that much. How exciting! I love the idea of using the leftover foam to make pods, and glass cups to diffuse the light for the beam. How do you accomplish the eye screen for the modified spider? I’m working on ideas for an puppet now! I can’t wait to see yours finished. Thanks for revving up my creative engine for next season.

Great stuff (and not just the foam)! You did an excellent job across the board. We did a flying saucer back in 2010 that was about 1% of all this and are still getting accolades for it from folks around the neighborhood who saw it. Your alien life forms plants reminded me of another awesome (and under-appreciated) channel: Ghost of Autumn Wood. He does something different and usually very ambitious every year.
