IT'S ABOUT TIME!
Doctor Who is back! In this video I share my thoughts on the latest episode of Doctor Who. If this is your first episode of the show and in turn videos on my channel then a huge hello and welcome and I hope you loved it! I hated space babies, i thought it was so juvenile (no pun intended) they literally expected us to feel something for a monster made of BOGEYS, and the baby aspect i thought was stupid because not only are the effects dodgy, but ncuti and millie performing to them is so laughable because you can tell they are just sitting there like what the fuck and thats obviously the case cos they are BABIES

I miss when the show was dark, had actual alien monsters that were smartly written, and people died Instead, we get the baby friendly garbage

Strange choice to do such a wacky one for the first episode as might turn a lot of people off but can confirm the second episode is a lot darker and for me a lot more enjoyable and hope that is more of the feel they go for moving forwards

Had a bumpy start because our "preferred language" was missing in the Disney options, although they had a trailer made in that language to advertise the show. Had to search for the English subtitles to enjoy... so we got suuuper critical of what we were shown. The most eerie thing were the faces of the babies - talking. And how they moved their limbs around: stand in dolls and CGI effects might be responsible for that impressions, gave you "Wild Blue Yonder" vibes in a bad way. The children are innocent, but what was done to them is more than worse. Mavity is still around - so that's all right then!

I would adore it if some season of Doctor Who in the future started every episode with the KLF’s “THE TIMELORDS - DOCTORIN’ THE TARDIS” song. I don't know if that will ever happen. Still, it would be totally awesome and completely “wibbly wobbly, timey wimey” if it ever did happen!!! 🤞😍🤞

When I heard that Disney had bought into Dr. Who, I joked that it would be alright as long as they didn't try to turn it into High School Musical. So what the he'll did I just watch?!?! I feel violated. I've been watching Dr. Who since the Pertwee days and this is criminal. The only "twist in the end" will be the number of Who fans tuning out and dumping Disney Plus. What a travesty! I literally cried. Anyone else offended by The Lost Chord?

I never expected these episodes to be the best or blow me away. Mostly looking at RTD previous series, with the better episodes coming later in the series, so it’s personally too early for me to judge the series now in my opinion. It be like judging Series 3 with only the first few episodes out and calling the series bad, when Series 3 has some greatest episodes ever in the later half. But this my mindset right now, and I feel like it’s too early to call the Series Bad or Great. This just my opinion tho. But right now I’m giving Space Babies 5/10, and The Devil’s Chord a 6/10

I personally wasn’t a fan of the episode, but that was mostly because of the baby story line being weird and juvinile to me. It is waaaay too early to be saying things like “worst era ever!!1!” and I have hope for the rest of the series since I do like the actors so far.

Alright I'm sick of all of these people complaining that it's "too woke" like "oh no, representation of a minority! We'll never survive this one!" I'll be the first to admit that Russel is going about it all wrong, he's prioritising 'the message' over the story which isn't right, but still, it's doctor who, it's always been progressive, we might as well get over it. Sorry for the rant but we're just gonna have to accept the nature of the show from now on. (This does not excuse Davros change him back Russel)

NG just doesn’t convince as this ancient wise being, which is essential to make Who work, JW was more believable and that is saying a lot bearing in mind how god awful the Chibnall era was. I always want to like any new Who because I want the franchise to continue, but this isn’t Who sorry. And to all the young woke iconoclasts who would dismiss my view as irrelevant, come back when you have literally supported the show for over 60 years since it’s first episode, yes I am that old!

WTF I just watched the first 2 episodes. No more. That was NOT Dr. Who. It was a camp, gay, comedy romp. A parody. Disney have fuc*ed up Star Wars, now with RTD and N G's help they have made Dr. Who unwatchable. Just bloody awful.
