Beautifully done, I've been wondering why nobody did a Bismarck amv for Star blazers. AND it's a twist I've not seen before, centered around Garmilas- Specifically one of my favourite Garmi ships too :D well done
3:49 to 4:04 Dessler: What’s the status of the IPBM sent to Terron Garmillas Officer: It was destroyed by an unknown object that’s heading straight for us Desura Captain: What is it doing Officer: I don’t know. I’m getting a reading from it. It is saying “NO PUP’S TOO SMALL” Dessler: WHAT THE FU Desura is blown up
@@starpowerninja fair enough, they're one of my favourites too, though my favourite is the gelvades class carrier and the desura 3 which is basically just an improved gelvades.
@@starpowerninja the Andromeda is cool but I find the scattergun to be too ridiculously overpowered, it just takes a lot of the suspense and tension out of it when 1 blast can obliterate entire fleets, the numbers end up getting ridiculous just to make it seem like a fair fight. I prefer the massive artillery armament of the garmillan ships over the brokenly OP wave motion guns. The desura 2, Neu desura and desura 3 at least are the only garmillan ships to have one, which gives them rarity value and makes it more reasonable, like the malevolence in star wars, it's fine as a special one off flagship, but imagine if the separatists had started mass producing them, it just wouldn't have worked. The huge hordes of wave motion gun ships deployed by the UNCF during the war just made it annoying to me, because now they need to make the ark of destruction capable of withstanding a blow that should have shattered a good fraction of the galaxy, which makes you wonder why the gatlantians bothered attacking with fleets at all when they had that thing. I just feel like a weapon that vaporises continents and can shatter a planet can't be used in those sorts of quantities without it getting ridiculous and unrealistic and stuffing up the plot, forcing them to make up something even more powerful which then seems too ridiculously powerful to be even remotely possible in order for humanity to be at any risk at all.
i get your point with the wave motion gun fleet and the comet empire, but i think 2202 was going more of a "we cant have a wave motion gun anymore because of our promise" and i think the story needed a thing to go against it i.e. the wmgf. And with the attacking in quantities from gatlantis, i dont think they knew about earths time vault and the near infinite amount of ships they had, i think once they found out thats when the city empire came into battle, but i also think they knew about the power of the wmg as they have their own version and deslers ship he was given from gatlantis came with one aswell.
