On 29th April 2017, Tokyo Band of JMSDF appeared on the stage of "niconico super music festival 2017" carried out in Makuhari Messe, near Tokyo. The Band performed four pieces from "The Star Blazers". They were "The Universe Spreads Infinitely(scat)", "Space Battle Ship YAMATO", New Cosmo Tiger" and "Taiga-YAMATO's Theme" and were tailored into a suite. Though the Band performed pieces from "The Star Blazers" many times so far, I think it's unusual for them to perform in this way.
According to Mika Araki, the MC, the suite was named as "The Star Blazers Suite niconico Super Meeting two zero one seven (Uchu Senkan YAMATO Niconico cho-kaigi futa maru hito nana Kumikyoku)" I feel their playfulness.
2017年4月29日（土）、海上自衛隊東京音楽隊は、幕張メッセで開催されたニコニコ超音楽祭に初めて出演しました。この演奏会では、宇宙戦艦ヤマトの楽曲から、「無限に広がる大宇宙」「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」「新コスモタイガー」そして「大河ヤマトのテーマ」の４曲を組曲仕立てで演奏しました。「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」は何度も演奏されてきましたが、このような組曲仕立てでの演奏は珍しいと思います。MCの荒木美佳さんの紹介では「宇宙戦艦ヤマト ニコニコ超会議2017（ふたまるひとなな）組曲」と名付けられているようですが、これは遊び心というものでしょう。
