It's gorgeous, and simple. Can't wait to do my first loc braid out. Being a loose natural was nice, but the simplicity of locs is everything I wanted, and wish I started sooner.
Do it! I'm officially 1 year in and really wish I would have started 3 years ago when I first started feeling the itch to do it. It's been the best decision for me. If you don't like them you can always comb them out or cut them off.
Beautiful style. I thumbs up your video. The term space bums comes from white people re-branding bantu knots( which is tucked afro hair). Your locs look like two large bantu knots.
If you already like to style your hair yourself and you're pretty confident in your techniques, then I would recommend starting them yourself. If you don't like styling your hair or you're unsure about the sizing of locs that you want, then I would recommend seeing a loctician.
