"and gives us the posibility to focus on other tasks" no... cuz while they automaticly mine for me i will be busy looking at them in marvel knowing this is the coolest thing ever.
Wow!! This is incredible. Not only that it's possible for miners to dock while ship is moving, but the miners can work together like that. That's a game changer, well done!
@@kermitkiller6669 Ho boi yes sir it sure is! Thats why im running always a behemoth of a ship with an energy shield that has over 120Million HP and over 56 Build And Repair systems lmao
@@klebestiftlp5943 I have this super capital ship that has just over 1 billion health in shield and has so many drones that u can't even engage it within 7km or u will get shredded
Please note that the presented scripts are not my, the author of the SCAM is cheerkin. You can find a link to his workshop in the description of this video 🙂
this would be great to combine with Pam and Rdav's autominer script or even set up a auto carrier drone to haul the mining drones to various asteroids location, the mining drones would mine for said resources, fill up the cargo containers of the carrier. and from there the carrier would return to the mining base and off load the ore into the station for breaking down into ingots from there to components and from there the components would be offloaded to cargo ships to be transported to the shipyards to make more ships and fighters.
I was really excited to use your design, but I had multiple issues, probably something I’m doing wrong. One problem was the basic dispatch hot bar just had blank squares. The other was when I was able to take control of the drone, the mouse wouldn’t work, it just drifted to the side until it crashed.
There's a detailed guide over here: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2790762021 It covers the basic setup. I will also post a video tutorial some time soon. The system offers a wide utility but it's quite complex because of that.
@@Pro100tv9 wonderful, for i have been making work of the wingman drones to assist in my modded adventure of, making one of them carry an OXI cannon lol
There's a glitch related with hydrogen supply and conveyor sorters. The solution would be to place the hydrogen supply just behind the connector and conveyor sorter next. For example: Connector---hydro tank/generator---sorter
i get the drone to where it needs to be but when it tries to fly back it slams straight into the mountain I had to pilot it over and scrapes along the side so I have to take control and fly it back myself
If you do not use a mobile drone carrier that could be directly on the excavation site, I'd suggest using PAM-based mining drones, like this one: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2705006131 where you can record the path
My server has cleanup settings that automatically resets voxels further than 5km from a powered grid after 24 hours. Is there a way to have the drones automatically re-mine a deposit every 24 hours? I use a "mining base" style setup where I have a few bases scattered around where all of my resources are concentrated. My automining drones currently have to be reset every time they finish mining out a deposit which means that every few days I have to jump from base to base to re-assign the ore deposit to the drones.
Probably not with SCAM but combining PAM miner with some well synchronised timers could do the trick, as PAM is able to remember a path to the mining area
@@Volkaer I have my drone dock more than 5km away from all of my ore deposits. PAM drones automatically go back to the dock dock after finishing their job.
Hi, the drone transfers ore automatically to the dispatcher upon docking. Try checking all the cargo containers on your ship. In the inventory menu there's an option to show only containers that aren't empty, it may help to locate the ore 🙂
@@Pro100tv9 yeh I've checked everywhere, just disappears during the offloading, I watched it drain and all the ore just disappears very strange behaviour
Check if the connectors are named "docka-min3r" and if they do, check if the custom data of those connectors is empty. If not remove the custom data content. If that won't help try executing command "purge locks" from the main dispatcher interface
That'd require some work but it's possible. What I can think of would be using remote control ability to trigger actions upon reaching a waypoint, so you could set up two gps coords - one above the connector and one above the mining shaft, add timers that'd trigger thruster override and turn off the autopilot, measure the time needed to mine to certain depth and trigger next timer to go out from shaft. After that toggle on the autopilot and do the same with the dock connector. It's just an idea but I think it could work. Perhaps there's easier way of doing that
@@Pro100tv9 with the shape and ability to ship it is still a very great design and tha k you so much for getting back to me I'd be happy to fly it remote 😀
Xbox version of Space Engineers has disabled in-game scripts due to Microsoft policy. Because of that the drone's software is disabled. There's not too much I can do about that.
