Hello Everyone,
Welcome back to the channel!! In today's video i wanted to show you how you can turn your drop pod into a very effective mining ship, you can build this ship quite early on in the game and it will definitely help you get started.
I did not include any information about the progression mechanics in Space Engineers, but instead focused on the fundamentals of a mining ship such as the Design and what components to use, actually flying the ship and setting up the ship.

@@TheGarageGamer86 I have one question however, how do you allow the connector on the ship to send resources to the station after mining? Mine isn't working. (Sorry if this is a dumb question) Edit: Got it to work for the refinery but why doesn't it extract the resources and send them to the storage containers?

@@TheCrabActivist4525 not at all mate 😁. It doesn't automatically push components to the base when you connect it, you have to manually move the ores across. If it isn't transferring manually then you either have an incomplete conveyor or conveyor tube, or you have accidentally placed a conveyor sorter in place of a conveyor 🙂.

Was following along. Now that I got the gyros in.... I can't put on of the two thrusters back on the cockpit. Yaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy bugs.

Tray adding the block above the thrusters first, and then attaching the thrusters to those blocks 😉👌

@@TheGarageGamer86 okay, still no dice. But I did place it elsewhere on the front.... It won't hover. I have since crashed it messing around trying to get it to hover. Only like 1/3 damaged. Any ideas? I am also on XB1 and literally can't figure it out. (Edit) Idk if this matters but I also didn't have the landing gear below it when building it. They kinda exploded on landing.
