For millennia, the evil Galra empire has plagued the universe by destroying other civilizations and enslaving various races. The only known threat strong enough against the empire's power and plans is the legendary "Defender of the Universe" Voltron, a 100 meter tall robot warrior composed of five lion mechas whose pilots are known as the Paladins.

Several years after the final battle between the Voltron Force and Prince Lotor, a new evil threatens the galaxy, and the universe is once again in need of its true defender - Voltron. Now, three new cadets join the Voltron Force team in their fight against evil. The opening of this episode is iconic and nostalgic. This has to be one of the best animation cartoons in the 80's. Even the music and background sounds was nastalgic. 1984 was a great year and blessed to be alive at the time. Awww childhood memories.

You see this is why I wish blitz Way who is the creator of the newest Voltron action figure would have made the Voltron paladins, movable and articulated. I wish they would have made a way to actually put the peloton in and out of the lines because the Voltron paladins had a lot to do with Voltron being as good as it was in the 80s they are so underrated, they get no recognition. These were my heroes growing up in the 80s the Voltron paladins as well as Voltron himself

I'm a big #Autism fan of Voltron on both Ch. 7 #WABC, & Ch. 11 #WPIX 🗽, for 35 years.😀 It was the most important best valuable childhood program, Retro Bites.

All I can say that our theme song back when we seen this as kids in the 80s was way better. Call me biased 😆 Thanks for the upload though. Its pretty cool seeing where Voltron actually came from.
