@@jamjam7692 We can’t forget about Spy Jam where Jackie Chan was supposed to star in. Granny and Speedy technically became spies even though they were referencing The Matrix instead.
I still can't believe that RICK AND MORTY SHOWED UP IN THE MOVIE LIKE I STARTED FREAKING OUT CAUSE I NEVER THOUGHT WE WOULD SEE THOSE TWO IN A SPACE JAM MOVIE
The rap battle scene referenced The Notorious B.I.G. when Daffy calls Porky “Notorious P.I.G.” and in the background they play the instrumental version of “Flava in Ya Ear”, possibly referencing Bad Boy Records, as they were both on the same label.
If I don’t get a Tune Squad outfit AL-G-RITHM is gonna kick my butt in Space Jam 3: Fatherboard Edition! C’mon you’ve gotta help me bro! (So yeah, *I want a tune squad outfit.)* 5:08 Lol he said “FROGhorn Leghorn”, even AL-G-RITHM is laughing at that.
15:50 Michael B. Jordan, an actor who played Adonis Creed, Apollo Creed's son from Rocky film series by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (since Warner Bros. Home Entertainment also distributed in home media worldwide under licensed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Home Entertainment since July 1, 2020 replacing Disney / Fox).
Al-G Rhythm was being bobby knight and bill Belichick while he was coaching and they were losing. Bobby Knight threw the chair. And Bill Belichick was wearing a head set.
@@MetaBro you'd have to see the movie, probably around the ten minute mark, when they head to the warner lot to pitch lebron movies and pronects to Lebron James
towards the beginning of the basketball game there is a small clip where Space Ghost from Space Ghost Coast to Coast is floating above the court watching
@@maxcarroll9146 That’s only because cancel culture hasn’t caught on to that movie yet hahaha just wait and see. It isn’t the movie studios, it’s the SJW snowflakes that complain, AND THEN that’s when the movie studios bend the knee and obey. I hate it all.
In the Warner bros scroll of movies they show other Warner classics like Batman from 1989, Batman Returns, Batman Begins, Lego Batman Movie, Joker, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Suicide Squad from 2016, Dunkirk, Inception, The Polar Express, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Casablanca, Singing in the Rain, The Matrix, Clash of the Titans, King Kong from 1933, The Mask, Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone, and some series for Warner bros like Super Girl, The Flash, Black Lightning and the Big Bang Theory
Sports Easter eggs missed: 1. When Lebron got dunked on and the guy said it’s over, that’s Vince carter 2000 dunk contest 2. and when that one guy says I just got sucked into my phone “anything is possible” that’s Kevin Garnett in the finals
I hope Disney makes a movie like this with their legendary characters like mickey mouse, Donald Duck, etc., meeting the rest of Disney's characters that Disney owns...
That would be cool but it will be difficult to show every disney character and it is hard to give all the characters development i can rather see this being like a special series on disney+
There is big chance of this happening there was a rumor that says that SQUARE ENIX wants to make a live action movie of KINGDOM HEARTS and if you played this game or any other part from this series then you already know what they are planning for so get ready but take this rumor with a giant amount of salt because it's just a rumor and also it's possible to see a teaser in the middle of 2022 Info about KINGDOM HEARTS : KINGDOM HEARTS is a third person hackn/slash , platformer that takes both the DISNEY world and FINAL FANTASY world and combine them together you can see many familiar characters from DISNEY and from FINAL FANTASY
Lol, gotta give my boy a pass on this one. I can see how a non sneaker head could make that mistake. That would have been genius though if Michael B. Was wearing the space jam 11’s. Cant believe they didn’t do that now that I think about it.
Also l worth noting, I bet Nike WISHES they could take back that scene and have Michael B. Wear the actual space jam 11s lol. This movie (and scene) was probably shot Atleast a year or so ago due to the Covid pandemic. Since then Jerry Lorenzo (founder of Fear of God and designer of the FOG 1) went thru a rocky breakup with Nike and signed with rival Adidas. Obviously with the increased difficulty for a simple reshoot, and the importance of keeping the scene in cause it was obviously a really clever cameo; they were kinda SOL and were forced to keep it in the movie and be reminded of the breakup lol.
Yeah I enjoyed it too. Really dont understand why its getting so much hate. It was just a fun kids movie that u dont take seriously just like the first Space Jam.
That's lame. It's a stupid cartoon. And a 2 second drawing made you smile? Did you smile when you realized you spent $20 on a ticket to give ugly lebron more money?
Nope I saw it on HBO Max but I overall enjoyed the movie it was just that one scene that made me happy cause I’m a rick and morty and I don’t care what people say about lebron too cause I don’t really care all about that
Makes sense that big chungus was in there since he isn’t that old of a meme, but Uganda Knuckles is like 2018, it would just be so out of place for them to reference it. You could argue that age doesn’t matter since sanic made a brief cameo, but that’s a legendary meme while Uganda didn’t stick that long.
9:17, This also could've been a reference to Carrot-Blanca, which make sense, since Bugs, Sam, Penelope Pussycat, Pepe Le Pew and afew other characters were also in that Parody Short, too.
15:50 this is a reference to both the movie Friday night lights and the show as well. Michael B Jordan was a main character in seasons 4 and 5 of the show and the phrase appears in both.
I never thought rick and morty would be in the same movie as bugs bunny lol. Great video as always chris and i would love a jersey but if not, still love ya bro
There’s also Baby Jane from Whatever happened to Baby Jane, A Nun from the devils, The wicked Witch of the west also from Wizard of Oz, Pirates, Ship captains, Devils, 1966 Batman villains like Cat women and the Penguin, Gangsters, War boys from Mad Max, Mimes, Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, Lion-O from the Thundercats, Imortals, Alex Delarge and the Orange droogs, Mama Fratelli from the goonies, Witches and Female gladiators
2 Easter Eggs I caught: When they show outside shots of Marvin's ship it says A113, which is usually a Pixar Easter Egg, so I'm guessing it's a little jab at Disney. Then when Tweety gets stomped by the bird guy from the Goon Squad he makes the exact same shape as when he gets stomped by one of the Monstars in the original Space Jam
Its not a Pixar easter egg. That A-113 is a reference to the classroom used by graphic design and character animation students at California Institute of the Arts. Used by many in the biz today, not just Disney or Pixar.
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 Nobody liked the fact that LeBron was being the main character instead of Michael. And Pepe being removed and Lola’s redesign
I love the many crossover they had in the video it really kept me really entertained and I wasn’t expecting the Rick and Morty crossover. Robin was moving crazy in the background.
14:52, He's called "Blue-Falcon", not "Captain Falcon". Not your fault for accidently saying his name wrong. Also, both Blue-Falcon and Dynomutt's designs were also from the SCOOB! Movie
Lol I remember commenting on Cris's video talking about this movie's announcement 2 years ago! What did I comment? Saying they need to put Big Chungus in the movie. Also I'd love a Tune Squad Outfit.
I did found 2 Easter egg cameos That I Was trying to tell him about .One of them was Babyface from the 2009 Horror/Slasher film ,'The Hills Run Red ,but I really don't know ,It might The Thomas Hewitt Leatherface from 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake ,However The Second one I think I found was The Baba Sawyer Leatherface from the Original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
@@thefantasticretroreviewer3941 They were in the original trailer I think on the bottom front of IGOO and behind one of War Boys from Mad Max could be eather the Thomas Hewitt Leatherface from The 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake or Babyface from the 2009 Slasher Film ,The Hills Run Red However ,on the far left by Foghorn is The Babba Sawyer Leatherface from The Original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre because back in 1980 , before Warner Brothers bought New Line Cinema , They got permission from Bryanston Pictures if they can Distribute it and released again in Theaters.
There was one more easter egg when Don Cheadle dunked on Lebron and said "it's over" with his hands crossing. That was a reference for when Vince Carter did a between the legs dunk in the 2000 dunk contest.
A lot of the characters and movies were acquired when WB bought Turner which owned The Wizard of Oz, Casablanca, The Hanna-Barbera and Cartoon Network characters. But isn’t King Kong a Universal property?
@@Bigreid92 Universal & Warner Bros have a tight friendship! Hence why WB allows Universal to use some of their properties in the Universal Studios theme parks
Anyone else catch the "I can smell it" line Speedy made when Tweety appeared? Nice little reference to the voice actor, Gabriel Iglesias's stand-up bit
