Will admit, the opening really turned me off. But the other 70% of the episode kind of saves it. Hope you continue reacting to the other series you had going as well!

They retconned that lore. They're now female custodes now and "have always been". So female Marines will be a thing soon enough.

Yeah. That can of worms is open. Honest question, do you think Amazon is actually making the demands to change lore, or GW using them as a scapegoat for blame? I think (Tinfoil theory; take with a hill of salt.) that GW did the custodes thing ahead of time, knowing Amazon already set Female Marines into stone for their show.

I heard about that. I don't mind female Custodes but I do wish that GW implemented them better. Maybe by saying that Custodes creation got expanded after the initial set to include daughters and not just sons.

@@Zekeziel-Reacts honestly got an interest in Warhammer because of the sisters of silence and really wish they expanded on their lore or made them the defacto female custodes give them their time in the spotlight.

@Zekeziel-Reacts Retconning decades of lore in order to be "inclusive" is a bit ridiculous when women have always been major players in the setting. From the loweliest guardsmen Regiment to the Sisters of Battle to planetary governors to Rogue Traders to Inquisitors, women have been all over the place in 40k. But the most ridiculous thing is that the Sisters of Silence work hand in hand with Custodes, have been a faction in 40k and haven't had an update in decades. They're sitting right there, 40k fans have been asking for an update for them for years and instead GW gives in to Amazon's demands.
