I love that the cosmetic paint color names are the Citadel paints you use to paint the minis. Makes sense but I didn’t expect that. Nice touch for us geeks.
@@phantomfire7205 You don't pick them up. You interact with them and everyone gets one point of armory data in their inventory. But you need to successfully extract at the end of the mission. Then you get it as a reward in the end screen
Assault class pro tip, tap the button to dodge, hold the button for more air time. You still don't get the same height as campaign and pvp but it does let you get those air slams off
Something not mentioned in regards to gaining health back is the righteous fury ability. While it's active it will refill your health as you get kills which I've found is one of the fastest ways to fill the health bar on the higher difficulties. Great guide btw, very helpful!
This was the most comprehensive video of the game. The explanation of the weapons tier and thst you unlock each one to get more tokens for your perks was fuckig huge!
My biggest issue with the game is that it's very ultramarine-coded. As in I can't customize my Space Wolf to look more like a Space Wolf, or my Salamander to have deep black skin and glowing red eyes.
I would like to add a tip. Not for the game but for the community. Don’t be a gatekeeper, this game rocks and there is tons of opportunity to be excellent to each other. We are all brothers here.
Currently a bulwark main, if you need health in a pinch, you can place down your banner before you execute or catch a small mob and get a large chunk of health back if not a full heal. This also works for your team if you have the perk where they get contested health on banner drop.
I’d expect a nerf to bulwarks in the future. That shield blocking every bullet even ones that hit the head above the shield and it’s unlimited, that’s definitely gunna get nerfed.
@@GaminJonesy A nerf that I would believe to happen would have to be shield bullet detection. I also do believe that to nerf the amount of damage the shield can take before a negative consequence like being staggered or unable to hold the shield up momentarily seems terrible. Especially regarding the fact that they don't get anything in the primary slot unless you want to count the shield itself as the primary.
I started with Bulwark and Assault because I'm a big fan of melee combat. Today I went and played with Vanguard and revisited the heavy class and had a great time myself!

Not sure why people arent saying it, but you can use heavy attacks on minoris enemies then press the shoot button for gun strike. If the gun strike kills, it will give you a shield back. So spam heavy attack and gunstrike to maintain shields. Also for online match making, if you arent pairing up with others, go to main menu and log back in to start pairing again. It's a bug but Ive seen this issue in many other online games also
You can gain back white health through shooting as well, although of course an execution is the ideal way to get it back as well as an armor slot filled.
I don't know if I missed it but you can use the armory data to instantly master a weapon you don't want to use for the perk point so as long as you keep searching for the data you'll be golden
Great guide! I think a really good guide you could make is a melee weapon combo guide! (Like what combo is quickest to stun enemy x for an execute on each weapon)

Great Guide! at 16:35 you should explain the different defence options of the melee weapon versions (balance fencing and block), that's very important.
Another great guide! Yet one missing part in pve introduction are trials. I understand that it was blocked when you created a guide. It is important because it introduces us to all classes.
We need way more Operations. Also we need some Gears of War style death effects in PvL. For such a bloody world, everyone just lays down after death. I need the head pop sound effects and flying limbs from grenades
PVP needs some serious balancing done to classes. The game is super fun, campaign was awesome. I made a video for each mission it was so much fun lol. Definitely seems like they didn’t spend much time on the PvP I hope they balance it out better
Well said and done on this video. Game looks solid but I'm not sure about having to counter attacking for your armor. In the highest difficulty it may be a problem. Call of duties zombies has a placement on their maps where you can repair armor or pick up an carpenter when it pops up. If the highest difficulty becomes a problem, then maybe armor drops or armor repair stations needs to be added. Too early to tell now until you run on the highest difficulty. If it's doable, then my suggestion won't matter. Until we run highest difficulty then we'll know
You didn't mention healing through rally. If you kill a bunch all at once you can heal yourself. Meltas are great for that. I'm just wondering where that FoV slider is. I hope it gets added with wide-screen...
Great video! Just got one question though. Do weapon upgrades, skill trees ect carry on to eternal war because in operations you can just pick a gun but in eternal war you have to unlock them
On xbox at least, the customized outfits don't save for more than 2 play sessions. You log back on one time and they are gone or defaulted back to the basic blue
Question about the Weapon perk tree: Sometimes you have 2x the same perk, then it must get doubled right??? for example I take 2x "10% more damage" then I guess my gun must have 20% more damage!!
I'm a freaking trashcan at this game, dude. I attempted the first operation you unlock during your campaign and got demolished. No hope of leveling up my classes or weapons if i cant even clear the damn mission.
this is common the first time, just take it slow, stand back more, and focus on countering enemies to get health/armor back. also play heavy with multi melta for the easiest experience of all
This is a straight up Awesome guide. Im absolutely loving the game. It's perfect except for it's few flaws. But its a new game and there is going to be bugs. Yeah the jump pack for assault hasn't been working for me outside of campaign specifically in the trials for assualt. I was wondering because it just wouldn't let me use it. Thanks for clearing that up because it was definitely frustrating. Went with the bulwark because everyone i get matched with has been a heavy. I suck right now but after today im polishing up my skills. Really appreciate you clearing alot of stuff up
So in story mode there are no weapons and armor upgrade?? Or is it we unlock it in the pve mode and can be used in campaign? I am new to this game and great video btw.
This will be my first warhammer game is the campaign similar to actual lore? I’m curious cuz I wanna read the books but I don’t want anything to be spoiled if that’s possible.
Every time i connect and hit quick match it throws me into searching infinitely, if i hit u and try again then it throws me in again but with no option to hit u this time and eventually it tells me i've been booted to offline mode with error code 140 and then even though it says you can go back online from the main menu, this is a lie and there is no option for that and i have to restart the whole dumbass game to try queuing again and then it does the same thing.... anyone else having this issue this morning? DONT BUY THIS GAME
Does anyone know what special skill your teammate gets if they join your campaign? Do we both get the same skill as Titus which is the damage buff that regens health?
Brothers, please help vote to made PVP Cross play between PC and Consoles an optional setting so we can all play. They disabled it for balancing, but the real balance comes from team play, as you can tell in this video!
