2:03:28 that’s a mark of a Sargent and was a mark of censure in 30K by Ultramarine Aeonid Thiel who made plans just in case of countering traitor Asartes but was called crazy for such plans/possibilities as that was the only threat that could harm the Imperium and had his helmet painted Red but was at the betrayal at Calth and did well even protecting and rallying with Guilimen so now Sargent wear Red to show there rank as a sign of respect/honor iirc many many chapters do that
Normally serving the deathwatch mean to be chosen by them which is an honour, but Titus was forced to serve them because of false accusation so for him it is not
Keep the helmet on. As it makes sense combat situation. But it also as you saw the cut scenes, the helmets still comes off, so I vote for the helmet staying on
You were wondering why the AI just walked away from some ennemies... My guess is they are programmed to let you take the kill animations so you can regen your armor. This is probably to help the player stay alive in harder difficulties.
51:39 depends on the chapter. For most it is an honor to serve in the deathwatch. Usually veteran marines who show a specialty in killing xenos. But if a chapter doesnt like the inquisition too much it very well may be a punishment
@@Channel-23s yeah a brother may find he really likes the kill team he’s assigned to and could message back to his parent chapter for longer or even permanent assignment to the deathwatch
Titus was a Black Shield. Black Shields in the Lore are space marines who willingly forsake themselves from their chapter to atone. Titus became a Black Shield after he was released from Thrax's imprisonment to atone for what he thinks were his shames against his chapter.
@@EthanYongChenKWONG iirc his records were wiped somewhat but he thinks it was because he was hated ir shunned when in reality Calgar and the rest wanted him returned but couldn’t get him back and so Calgar did it as to not be reminded of his pain in a way hence Titus being brought back and Calgar trusting him as he’s a Veteran Captain/Lieutenant who’s earned his honor
51:46 for some it’s a honor for others a sentence to redeem oneself or gain crucial experience vs Xenos it has been used before to get rid of a pesky brother by either having them serve kinda like how Inquisitors can make another become a Rogue Trader as a sort of forced down grade iirc
Red marks as a sergeant they do it in remembrance for a sergeant before the Horus heresy who suggested they train against each other so they know how to win against space marines. Granted at the time that didn’t go over well so the sgt rank takes the red helmet as a sign
Joining the Death Watch is generally seen as an honor, but some chapters use it as a punishment/penance. When an Astartes joins The Watch, they usually keep their right shoulder pauldern painted with their chapter heraldry. However, some paint their entire armor black because they know they will never return to their chapter. They are called "Black Shields." Not every Black Shield is serving penance. Some are the last surviving members of their chapter or stay with the Death Watch because they love killing xenos.
During the crusade era space marines would run hypothetical drills against certain enemy types, one of the ultramarine sargeants ran one demonstrating the best way to counter fellow starters and was censored with the red helmet to mark him but then the Horus heresy happened and his tactics went into large scale active use. The red helmet became the standard color for Sargent's as a mark of honor and to remember his efforts. 2:03:00
That's awesome the 1st game left you being excited for a new game. After trying the demo on ps 3 randomly in 2015, I wanted it on pc, I drove way out of my way to get last PC copy of Anniversary Edition at game stop.
1:58:34 it’s a great and bad thing to happen because you got the support of the Angels of Death but also it’s a very very dangerous situation you’re in as they only go to intense combat zones but I wouldn’t doubt them going to places that aren’t super dangerous too like the Salamanders coming to save lives or other reasons
I didn't think the swarm ai for the gaunts was that good, like a couple hundred is cool but not cutting edge. Then I saw the ripper swarms. It makes sense why they were bragging now XD
6:33 why not just detonate it in the stratosphere from orbit? Is there a Canon reason for adding extreme unnecessary steps and risk? 😂 (this game looks so fun but I know nothing about Warhammer 😅)
Legend Gameriot getting this next week I know I’m spoiling but can’t help myself haha great review scores all round well buzzing :) we’re in for a treat guys I will bathe in blood for you Emperor 👌😃🔥💪😁
1:44:26 the Geneseed is used to be out into new young recruits to be made into Asartes every Asartes has 2 in there body one that can be taken out while alive one while dead iirc but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was only for the dead
it is kinda strange how much is left out of the PvP/PvE modes. like the ability to hover and use a primary is apparently something the assault can do in PvP and the Campaign but not in PvE. Kind of frustrating tbh.
Here I am watching a lets play because my game crashes on the second mission cutscene a millisecond into it... God I love this game. 10/10 Only option is to restart and only do mp cause continue puts me straight back into that cutscene.
Space Marines, especially officers, would often fight without their helmet. The troops under them would see this as a mark of bravery and be inspired by it.
To serve in the Deathwatch itself is an honor, but Titus was a Blackshield, which are seen as bad omens because they cut themselves off from their chapter and battle brothers. They are seen as bad omens.
Also does the death watch killteam leader look like a black shield to anyone else or is it just me, Nevermind it is Titus Again nevermind he was a black shield
16:11 I think the developers were lazy to name it Boltgun... But whatever, maybe because the multiplayer might divide the name of the weapons (Example: Boltgun was name under Heretic Astrates, Bolt Rifle will name for Loyalist Astrates) 2:34:15 I think the true reason is: He can sense the power source, trace back to the events of Graia.
The amount of sloppy play when protecting the antenna was staggering! By the emperor was I reasonably sure you were gonna die, kill the hordes, then kill the gargoyles the antenna had plenty of health, and second, prioritize zornothopes and use your plasma pistol charged shots, that would've downed that xeno in seconds. Sloppy play aside, it wasn't all that bad, good video lad and a now preview of the first mission! Keep improving lad and soon you'll make a fine angel of death!
