What are the advantages of the Combat Knife over the Chainsword? Honestly curious, I was under the impression the Chainsword could deal more damage, even to single Majoris targets.
Faster attacks = faster recovery, and damage if you care about that. Shadow stab is currently one of the strongest attacks ingame in terms of utility, being capable of staggering anything (including enraged enemies) thats not a carnifex.
If on vanguard depends on the party comp. If I go someone on add clear like bulwark I take knife for the majoris. If I have someone for majoris I take chain sword since it’s got good sweeps and stomps for adds.
Using chainsword with HP recovery perk on it and works pretty well with "upper hand" perk ( not knocked back for 5 sec after a parry),especially when fighting multiples majoris in same time. Does the perk "Melee Mastery" (10 % damage vs majoris) makes a Big change in damage with chainsword ?
Not bad, you'd do even better with the other Combat Knife set up, that has the slash you can hold down and stun lock Majoris.. They are both nice tho I'm a Vanguard main!
I know you probably prefer their input over mine, but I do just because of Blood of Vossus. It’s a balanced blade, but if you’re good with parry timings, the extra speed on that thing is a boon.
So you goes SOLO with ai and got 22k, when i got 23k from melta with players who did like 13-16k too, not soldier 5k dmg summary. An dfor what you take melee perks if you do only 2-3k dmg then? Logic ?
At this point I might start to solo Lethal, always end up with a Bulwark stealing all stims and healing Vanguard while he steals all executions. Meanwhile Im behind dealing all the damage with Heavy or Tactical.
