I have a list that’s very similar. Except I use a redeemer and a repulsor. I also don’t run the lieutenant with the blade guard. I run a biologus with the eradicators with the enhancement forged in battle. I find it really helps with overwatch. I also don’t run the assassin but a unit of terms to drop in their back field or rapid ingress in the middle to help out. I do like your changes though. I like that lieutenant in with the blade guard.
Just bought the Blood Angel combat patrol for the Aggressors and Infiltrators. Wasn't planning on painting up the Librarian anytime soon but I like the idea of pairing them with infernus! Ill add him to my ever expanding to-paint list 😅 Great video as always!
how do you feel about a LR crusader holding vulkan + company heroes + 10 man infernus? also trading a lieutenant for adrax and bladeguard in a impulsor
I want to try Adrax with the Bladeguard in an Impulsor or Vulkan with the Company Heroes. The more I play with Infernus, the less I like them. They melt hordes, but that is about it. I do have another list I'm working on with No Infernus. Using the points to add some scoring units
Have you considered a Repulsor for Vulkan + Adrax instead of the standard Land Raider? - at 180pts it's 60pts cheaper which could open up some more options for this list... doesn't come with the Assault Ramp though...
I have! But I do not currently own one. For these competitive lists, I like to have played with the list or at least used all the units in my lists. To give more hands-on information in my videos. It is on my list of units to pick up, though!
I'm a new player. Can someone help me understand why no one uses the land raider crusader? I thought it would be solid given its weapons and durability while also having the assault ramp ability
I'm glad to give you a few tips! The Crusader has a weird weapon selection. The Redeemer gets really scary heavy flamers great for overwatch. The regular Landraider has the 4 big lascannon shots. The Crusader has a bunch of dmg 1 weapons and a multi melta, which the others get too. The Crusader does have a larger capacity of 16, but it's rare when we have a unit large enough to need those 16 transport spaces.
@@HubtownHammer Thank you for your help! I'm taking my army to roughly 2000 points by the end of the year hopefully. I was looking at the crusader because of its cheaper cost because I really want to run terminators. I just think they are really cool and crusader makes it easier to in 2000 points
Yes trade units are low but the assassin should cover a fair amount of the secondary scoring. The next list will contain less big units and more of a scoring over everything mindset.
