It's kind of mind blowing watching the game being completed in less than 10 minutes. I remember the days when it could take MONTHS to complete Sierra adventure games - the only source of hints I had was friends and sometimes rarely computer magazine game articles. Hint books weren't really a thing here either, because you would've had to order them by mail or phone all the way from the States. Thanks to these games, I started learning English.
I played this as a 10 year old child in germany with a vokabulary. learned me english. i could make it to 6:10. Never thought about "Enter trunk"....lol...Good run!
I have very fond memories of this game. First graphical adventure game I ever played for my own computer (played "Sherwood Forest" on the Apple II at my school though). I did the save and restore method to get money at the slot machine too back in the day. I didn't find out until later there's a magnet you can find on the ship at the beginning that you attach to the slot machine to win every time. I'm not sure how I feel about using save and restore during a speedrun though. Seems like cheating to me.
