Space Rider | Assembly Phase 

It is time for Space Rider 🛰️ Assembly & Integration.
The European Space Agency - ESA 🇪🇺 #space vehicle, developed by Thales Alenia Space and launched 🚀 by #VEGA [from AVIO], that will stay in low orbit for two months, in order to carry out #experiments. At the end of its #aerospace #mission, it will return to Earth with its payloads and land on a runway to be unloaded and refurbished for another flight.
CIRA - Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali is responsible for the #design and #development of the #Thermal Protection System that will protect the vehicle from the tremendous heat generated during re-entry phase.
