Meh, they're on every standard station server in 13 and made the jump to 14 where people give less shits about what pixel mess you play as. It doesn't go much deeper than that.
@@lemonbot4906 best part is when I made the comment I didn't even get to the part with the moth people. Wild shit, guess the game has changed quite a bit, huh.
hmmm... i think a "self-end" vest linked to a heart beat along with a bunch of C4 strapped to a marines inner thigh could help teacher the Xenos not to be too hasty in dragging off marines who fall down...
for the story lovers out there gather around. here is how my first round went join a match that clearly just began, had a few training rounds before so this is ideal, run around and meet a guy from my squad who i tell im a noobie, he gives me a quick run of the basics again which is appreciated, i arm myself with a pulse rifle and all the basic equipment.. and one single blahaj.. my dear friend, we go to get debriefed and everyone is immediatly aware of me being new, they start betting on my death, i hop into battle my leader is a retard who needs some retraining yelling at me to shoot a pulse rifle with over ten guys infront of me, he keeps demanding us to push from our defenses.. its a massacre.. we find a squad with almost everyone dead and yet our leader orders us to hold, they never stop coming, in the end we attempt to leave but its too late.. we had losses, my friend gets grabbed us we retread "NO!" i gun down the bastard and hold on for my friend to get back on his feet, somehow we make it and he gets aid, more yelling from the leader as i do my best to shoot xenos and not any marines, i get napalmed, schizophrenia kicks in and creature yells at me to roll, i barely survived but i shrug that near death once im back to health, we push into the hive, the leader got too greedy again after seeing the xenos retreat before they quickly return with even larger numbers, this time im grabbed, im mauled and killed, i get revived somehow but now im emptied of all i had.. but my blahaj, i hold onto blahaj as i get up and rearm myself with scattered equipment from proper equipment to basic clothes and a battle rifle, i charge and still manage to somehow get some kills, as we fully breach the hive we realize that we can take a breather as victory is near, i go to my leader as i was left completly behind by the squad, "im still alive, bitch", i get a hearty pat on the back and we joke about the whole thing before finally victory is declared
I feel like the fact that you can have multiple people on two tiles at the same time is... at the very least different. Like imagine if in chest you could have two pawns sharing a spot? Idk, something makes me feel like there is a mechanic that was lost when you allow people to kinda slide around I between tiles.
No more getting pushed into a room with a xeno defender because the door behind you is stuck with 10 marines all trying to cram into it wanting some action
The slowness and slugness of CM combat is what makes it more fun and tactical. A lot of people yap about TGMC but it has never been as popular as CM. Because it's too wacky and speed based. Pixel combat doesn't works for CM. (It doesn't has funny IFF)
@@Riya-ho5zv Oh no, sweatys getting filtered because they're forced to deal with the consequences of blindly running gun-ho into a dark room after a lurker 🥺🥺
13 is older, more content rich and generally has a better player base and staff, ss14 is newer, runs better and includes cool shit 13 can’t like functional (and fun) shuttles
first time i played CM14 was as a medic after coming from plat medic on CM13, it was so disorienting that i couldn't target body parts or quick pull from pill bottles. then half the medical shit wasn't even present in the game yet, not even the medhuds
During one round I was playing as a doctor and a SL and multiple corpsmen tried to bully medical into giving their medhuds away, which they only had enough for like four marines, or a full medbay.
It’s 2 mode, harm or not. Left click attacks and (I believe only when unarmed) right click is disarm/shove. You can also pull with Ctrl click. I know you can grab too, but still not sure how that works exactly, I’ve seen people using it on corpses mostly
You can play, you’ve been able to for a good while, all you have to do is request to join the play test on steam, I’ve been playing off and on for 2-4 years lmao. I’m pretty sure they have a bot that auto accepts every request, I still don’t really get why they have it setup like this rather than just tagging it as early access considering they let everyone in anyways lmao
