Old video I know but for anyone interested Leningrad Orbital is a station that orbits right within a ring, like you can leave the station and immediately start mining within the protection of the station right away
@@GhostGiraffe its actually an Orbis model (or maybe an Occelus). It orbits within a depleted Icy ring, so there's not a lot there for laser miners, but reserve levels are separate from core asteroids so you can still core mine. When I got around to mining I made sure to come back, just for the novelty of mining in a safe space
Well! After seeing this a few days ago, I've finally caught up on the first videos! Watching this again to celebrate!! Love this whole thing, dudes, and I can't wait for more! And, all I can say is...rock on... ;)
I don't know why but Mars remind me of Rick from Rick and Morty:he's totally crazy but in the same time he knows a lot of things about ED and he's so calm and relaxed about everything!"A planet will orbitate into a star? Why don't we visit it???" "There's a place where tea is illegal?Let's go in there with anything but tea in our inventory!" "The station where we're in right now is going right trough a rain of rocks and death?"Whoa cool!Let me finish my funny tattoo and I'm out!"
Can't wait for future updates that add things like outposts in asteroid fields/planetary belts. Can't wait to see those super ships that are suppose to be coming with the multi-crew update.
Ghost Giraffe I love dirty drives. Put some on my Python (which is already extremely heavy with armor) and I am reaching speeds I really shouldn't. Almost 400m/s boost.
Less than a month away and I can begin my Voyeger-esque trek across the galaxy (Star Trek Voyeger). Going from system to system, doing good deeds for gas money, and then getting out of Dodge.
holy shit! the music contrast is one of the best things in this vid! y'all are amazing. can't believe I only just found your channel. sub was a no brainer!
It’s a rare occurrence. Involves loads of orbits to line up just right and then it lasts only 3mins. We had to hurry and film this right the first try.
I had to go there when I saw this place in your last video :D It was tricky to get the timing right but eventually I logged in one day and was 2 minutes before going through the astroids ^^ It goes through so fast though, didn't have much time to take screenshots :/ And yaaaay! Orca is back! :D Oh and nice job with those decals! ^^
Not gonna lie, this channel is what got me and a friend playing Elite: Dangerous again. Spending hours screwing around, only then to have to pay a couple million in fines for trying to sideways drift into an orbital and blowing up an Orca. Good, wallet destroying times :)
Well yeah i started playing as well, even though i was kindas shocked that one day i will have to pay for the Horizons which is the same exact price like that default game though :/ Still though its fun :)
lol Space Wizard? Well that sounds eerily familiar... Make sure you pay for any drinks at that gig or you'll have a Bailiwck Day on your hands. Trust me, I know ;p
Aw man, you guys are hilarious. Love your taste in music by the way, gotta love the classics! And of course I keep asking myself: what insanity are you going to end up in now, and how the fsck are you filming it?
+Brian Ashe thanks so much! Most of our music is from Silent Partner from the RU-vid audio library. We often use Stomping Grounds, Red Hot Sun and a couple others from their country genre. Hope that helps.
Nice video guys, I really like what you did with the overall ambiance of the series, the music fits perfectly somehow and with the 2 heroes being some kind of misfits/hot heads, it's like a space cowboy version of the adventures of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill haha. Keep up the good work boys it's awesome! And Mars...Never ever buy a mic!
Well this video popped up on my recommended list and I gave it a watch, my god this is awesome and Mars is hilarious, you have my subscription right there. Additional, what music did you use for Mars in outfitting?
It's really a synonymous for goat but here in Spain we use goat as an insult some times ("You're like a goat" = "You're damn crazy"), and we also use that synonymous, "borrego".
I am wondering, I searched through all the songs in the description, but I can't seem to find the opening music. Is it an original music made for this video?
Too bad I'm a couple hundred Light Years from the Core, otherwise I'd check it out! Even saw a nebula so small it's basically the corona of the Wolf Rayet in it
Like other games for example on GTA people doing RPG style custom games role-play some people already started in Elite dangerous with the open walk around I can see Star Citizen even better stuff like that nothing the devs are doing just people messing around
+Srcsqwrn We found a station that had its orbit go into the rings of a larger planet. It would only happen once every 5 days and last for just 3 mins. So what you see was "real" but also really bugged yet very hard to catch a glimpse of it. It was all done in one take and Mars played both characters on one account. So while all this happened he was able to switch ships and do a risky external camera maneuver as the Orca left the station. Later Spawrks added his voice to the video.
I found a station that I can't even get to, I spent a few hours trying but no matter what direction I dropped from, how fast I went, how close I got it, it was just spinning and flying too fast to get close to. Flying full speed in my cobra toward it after dropping behind it, it would disappear from my screen in seconds. Dropping in front of it? It would fly past me/nearly crush me to death before i even had a chance to react
Heh, I know it's a common joke, but they say pretty much the same thing. Megas XLR is a show about a dude from Jersey that finds a robot from the future, slaps a car on it to replace the missing head, and fights evil aliens and flattens the city every episode. In fact, the "aw, they moved the seat!" thing I'm thinking of happened after the robot was captured by aliens and the seat was adjusted. :P
Ghost Giraffe flight, tho i specialize in recording setups and have plenty of insight if you would lend an ear in a private convo, i don't want to toss the info around much, but i love your content :)
+quadstrike Im using a Thrustmaster T Flight HOTAS X with a Code keyboard for my setup. Once you figure out how to find a good binding for your flight style, feelsgoodman.jpg - spawrks
