FORTIS chronographs have been worn on at least 25 Soyuz spaceflight missions by 33 cosmonauts. Of course FORTIS chronographs have also been worn by NASA astronauts such as Cady Coleman, Terry Virts, etc... #MoonwatchUniverse researching "25 years FORTIS in space" !

I have the B42 Aeromaster PC7 and it is a wonderful watch, keeps time accurate to + 2 seconds a day for me. Also Fortis service support has been wonderful as I had some issues with the lugs while changing straps. It was a design issue with a tiny notch that makes it very tough to insert the lug pin, but seems addressed now.

I respect the Omega Speedmaster as an antique. However Fortis produces the MODERN moon / mars / space watch . I love my B42 Cosmonauts Chronograph it is built like a tank yet sophisticated in design accurate completely reliable on land or sea . A modern classic ! The space watch of the 21st Century!

I like Fortis watches but i never gave a ***** on the Space/Mars PR. Why? Because it´s only PR. But i would like to see that "Test", where a watch goes from -120°C to +120°C in a short period of time. And here we are at "the point"! That´s the information you didn`t mention! The timeframe of that temperature change. That makes a huge difference! But that´s how PR works. :-) Do you know why i own your watches? Because i like the contrast and the "simple" design. I don´t like the mainanance costs, that´s for sure! They are - astronimic- ! And some of the spare parts, for older Fortis watches, are not even available any more. So, there is issues with that sometimes! Serious issues!

If we are talking about the EVAs on the ISS, they experience 45 min of light (the +120 C) and 45 min of night( the -120 C). That's the speed the ISS goes around the planet.
