Space Engine is so large, I even spent a night or 9 hours I don't really remember but I spent a long time exploring, starting my own Catalog for nice things I've found and trying to edit stuff. Congrats to almost 350K subs

If Space Engine wanted to be more realistic, the moon at 17:20 would not be an earthlike world in the slightest. It would either be a super Io due to the massive amount of tidal heating or it would have broken up into a ring system because it's too close to its planet. It kind of annoys me how it will generate planets and moons so unnaturally close to each other to the point they'd just get ripped apart by the laws of physics if they existed like that in real life.

14:30 Planets are similar to earth? U-uh... Wrong! All the simulators generate the surface of rocky exoplanets from the only source we have to create a database; the solar system.. So rocky exoplanets you visit in the game do NOT look like earth or mars, they are MADE to look like earth or mars... How does one know these images are real and a mock-up - is there technology that allows us to go there, if not then how is it possible to go through space and see how stars look??? this to me looks like made-up graphics like games are made. Can anyone explain if this is believable or not?

Imagine if space engine was a perfect replica of the universe, but Space Chip is the only guy who has it, meanwhile he's just going past galaxies saying they look boring while nasa begs for him to have a look at them so that they take notes 🤣
