They absolutely could have... if they were allowed to. This is mid-day TV fluff show where you come in, set up, 'perform', pack up, leave. No sound check, no sound reinforcement, etc.
Saw them play this live! So good! Small venue in Vancouver, Canada 1998. They had to re-start the song because they made a mistake in the intro. But it sounded amazing! Lucy's Shoe also sounded awesome at that show.
