I'm so happy that this place is going NOWHERE. The next two election cycles can create chaos and noise for the next 5 or 6 years, but this place is will not shake from any of that!
The greatest risk of an explosion is when the booster or ship is returning to be caught by the catch arms. The returning vehicle has very little fuel left after flight so even if an accident happens the explosion would not be catastrophic. The tower will be very solid and compromised by an explosion if one were to happen.
