Hi Marcus, could you comment some time on the transit time for Starship. I think Musk said about 3,5 months in his presentations, because it has a fully fueled starship in orbit. That is the difference with for example Perseverance mission right? In transit time.

very cool animation! i absolutely love the discolouration on superheavy as it gets caught by the tower! a few things that i can't help but notice tho: 0:24 the waves in the water have a repeating pattern 0:45 the sky map that is reflected on starship has no bottom side 0:55 the waves of the water are slightly animated but propably based on a displacment map which is not a looping animation but has a noticable jump 3:30 that looks quite far away for a reentry. the earth looks much closer from the iss and it isn't experiencing any signifficant heat or plasma build up (yes, mars is smaller, but so is the athmosphere) 4:07 that looks very blueish for mars all that said, i love this animation and i am just picking on the few small things i have noticed.

Looks great! Though it makes little sense to launch a crewed starship then refuel it in LEO several times. You'd have a crewed ship loitering in orbit, and then having multiple rather risky dockings and fuel transfers which could all be delayed by equipment failure etc. Makes more sense to launch a starship "tanker" into LEO, refuel it autonomously several times there, THEN launch the crewed starship to perform a single docking and fuel transfer from the tanker before moving onto Mars.

I think this is the best animation of the Earth-Mars transit yet, for sure! One minor critique, and I could be wrong about this, but I think that they will be coming in so fast into the Martian atmosphere that they will need to do at least a supersonic landing burn with the engines oriented in the direction of travel to bleed off the extremely high horizontal velocity component. In other words, I don't think they will be able to just let the atmosphere do all the work right up until the final flip and burn, but rather they'll need to slow down with the engines too. But honestly, I've never seen an animation that does show that. However, if you look at the Martian landing physics simulation on the Spacex website, it does mention this and simulate it, you just don't get a very good visual of it. But that being said, this is awesome! Nice job!

Super great. Couple of points where the motion stopped and the edit cut was a bit late (1:43ish). The pan down the Starship was slow. Perhaps a slow pull while you continue to pan to expose the entirety of it and Booster. Sound design was solid. I can see Elon watching this and liking the music and your dramatic pauses that were right on time. I really wanted to see them come down the "elevator". Overall, I give you a solid A- on this project. Great job!
