Please watch the game, the only reason it took Spain so long to score is because they weren't clinical enough. Spain wasted a lot of clear cut chances so what RU-vidr is say is utter nonsense

Good chances and random shooting around the box are very different. Spain were creating but not high quality opportunities. They missed so many chances in the first 45 minutes because they weren't great chances, not because they weren't clinical.

Germany wont play like Georgia. They had to commit more players forward because georgia was parking a bus. Agaisnt Germany cucurella wont be so advanced like how he played against italy .

the other games were not all good. Against Italy they stuck structurally and didnt get managed to create an own goal at all. In fact they lost the game if Italy had not an atypical offensive weakness. Switzerland from the 'German group' removed Italy with a solid game by 2-0 - was also even being just the 2nd in that group better than Spain. Quite similar the game Spain vs. Albania (#66 in fifa ranking which is behind Burkina Faso and so on). This was also not a good game by Spain with winning 1-0. There is an actual class difference and Spain should have done much better but failed. The game against Georgia was as expected (NOT a 'wow' game but convincing in summary). But again, Georgia is Fifa Rank #74 - which is behind countries like Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde or United Arab Emirates. Even if they did well for their level this doesnt make them now a true strong opponent. The last meeting with Spain was 7-1 for Spain. The German win against Scotland (#39 which is still not high class but also not on a low class like Georgia/Albania) with 5-1 was more impressive. The only relative convincing game was vs. Croatia where in the aftermath Spain was also NOT impressive - but at least they got some better results out of that. The reality is that Spain faces with Germany now for the first time not just another favorite but a real 'strong team'. Germany on the other side met already stronger opponents (also Denmark was stronger, not a favorite but a solid/good higher class team). The reality is that Spain had often an excellent ball handling (which pleases many people) but too many ignore permanently some obvious weaknesses plus that Spain had in fact only weak opponents. The German group would kill the Spanish group (just as Switzerland, the 2nd one already did with Italy - better than Spain as said. But also Hungary, Scotland and Denmark (not group but 8th final) would destroy at least most the others - maybe even Spain. This means, Spain is overrated by irrational people who are to stupid to analyze their games and the facts. This doesnt mean that they are not a good team (in the end of the day they did their homework and managed to get through) but it is just WRONG to say that most of their games were good. They had essential structural problems - even if it 'looked nice'.

Yo what was I wrong about? The team was good but not great. Didn't create fantastic chances until the second half. They were fun but struggled to get clear shots at goal (that weren't blocked by 6 georgian players).

did you even watch switzerland v Italy and Spain v italy? Spain created way more chances than switzeland and conceded way less to Italy. They just did not convert their chances. And the game vs Albania was the B team from goalie to forward. Even most of the subs were players that were not starting, except Yamal and morata. Spain's preformance vs Italy was much better than Switzerland, and Italy had their full line up (Calefiori). Spain beat Italy more convincingly than Switzerland
