Now that was a pretty drive. :) Thank you for taking the time to do all the things necessary to post this clip here. I kinda enjoyed being crammed into the camera for this trip. I still want to gawk around to see all there is to see. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and have a wonderful New Year!!
It's fairly close to the French border, but yes, that was surprising. It's not continuously signed on that route, I think Paris doesn't appear on the French signs until the Bordeaux ring road.
That sign its because a lot of moorish people from europe (France and Belgium mostly) use their cars when this people return from his holidays in Moroco, Algeria... This road A-1 is very popular for this phenomenon...
yeah I know that since I am one of them, but still now it looks like the road is created for those people. For example you can find lot of arabic signs on the A-1. But yeah its a tradition to travel to Morocco/Algeria, but its going to becomeextinct.
@@pokedmondudeNot going extinct at all, atleast 600,000 cars have gone last year (partly COVID-19 rules applied). The arabic signs and signs pointing far away destinations is something beautiful and shows Spain is really generous with infrastructure change when it comes to North Africans travelling to Morocco or Algeria. Even Almeria, Tarifa, Algeciras have signs that show Moroccan cities.
