The country and Islands were literally built off the tourist money and now they complain? They need to watch there mouth or they'll be out of work. Turkey also atm are taking liberties charging crazy prices. Dont bite the hand that feeds you guys
Good luck when they don’t have the huge money that tourists bring to the country and have to pay for illegals who bring nothing! This is very short sighted of them.. I get the part about home prices as it’s the same in Cornwall .. but that’s predominantly the rich who can afford second homes.. once again the working people pay the price for the super rich! Let’s face it there are many better places to go than Spain!!!
The native people in the end suffer from both 😂 but also if they dont take immigrants. There is no good option to be honest. Any of these options causes things.
Okay, so they close these places. Then what? Tourism is all they have. Tourists may be occupational hazards but a lot of places would be finished without them. I live in a very busy tourist trap and although visitors can be a right pain in the backside, at least they come and spend their money. Sooner that than a deserted, broken town.
@jordan8168 England with some sunshine. Otherwise they have the same breakfasts, drink the same beer, eat the same tasteless food, talk to the same Bristish "expats", and call it a good holiday. Like, just go to Blackpool on a sunny day 😅

Yea prices are indeed insane. People are incapable of having a home but its also because of all these elderly people and people buying second of third homes in other countries for holidays.
Italy is the same country trying to sell homes for $1 because so many of the towns are dilapidated and deserted... you can't bite the hands that feed you
Can blame them for letting the illegal immigrants which is fine coz at least spain is a safe place for them but dont be blaming the tourists coming to spain.
Como ganar todo dinero en entonces?? But I ask the Spanish how are you supposed to make all your money? Because the climate is hot and that is the reason the tourists come, it's a massive open door, you can't Seal shut.
