Be sure to book a car at least a day in advance, because it is impossible to do this with local companies on the day of arrival.
To navigate public transport, install the app "Moovit: Bus & Rail Timetables" (it's available for both Android and iPhone), because Google maps often don't show local transport.
Do not come to Spain in the summer. Even in September, it is still incredibly hot there, when from 13:00 to 18:00 it is simply impossible to be outside.
There are a lot of tourists in Spain even from October to April. Do not rely on chance and try to book everything in advance, or prepare to stand in long lines (yes, even in the off-season).
