Absolutamente espectacular. Cuando se piensa en España desde fuera siempre se piensa en la fiesta y en el desmadre. Me parece preciosa la forma en que has captado este país. Gracias
I lived in Madrid for the whole past year and seeing some images from there makes me very emotional, what a beautiful place, never thought I could feel like that for a city, sometimes it doesn’t feel real that I was there for such a long time and it was so great, so refreshing, so different from the reality of my home country Brasil. I wish life was easier, I wish could bring my whole family to live there. But since it is not possible I will keep watching videos like yours to keep dreaming about it. Thanks man!
I am from Spain, and I think we even have more beauty regions and cities than Madrid. But I agree that it's an impressive city. I mean, is the capital, it has a lot of museums, El parque del Retiro, the Royal Palace, etc. But I think most poeple from other parts of Spain think that Madrid is a little bit overrated. Probably because even Madrileños in summer go out from their city and visit the coast. And most of them don't live in the center all the year, they just have a job there, and then return to thei home cities in other parts of Spain. For me, Madrid is like a cosmopolitan city, really full-crowded, a lot of pollution (they have air pollution issues), stressful, inmigrants, and individualistic. It's nice to live temporary, but not your whole life. I think it's a little bit dehumanized.
Madrid is great, it's just so damn expensive nowadays... I kinda wish I could go back after my family sold the family house there and moved South but we just can't afford it.
@@adaalonsohow do you feel about Valencia? I’m Irish, in love with Spanish culture, in the process of learning the language. I am considering living in Spain for a year or maybe longer to learn more. How do they feel about the Irish?
@@MP-ti6lz I was on Cork for 4 months, studying for Erasmus. It's nice that you are in LOVE with Spanish culture, we have a lot of good things. Except from good jobs and emplyment. Valencia is beautiful, but is also really tourist, so it's quite expensive for living. But if you like big cities, it's in the coast, so better than Madrid, and you have beautiful villages in the surroundings like Altea. Good look with the Spanish, is a romance language. So if you lear Spanish you could also learn Italian or Portugueses in the future (I know Portuguese and a little bit of Italian). If you like something Green, like landscapes similar to Ireland, you have the north (I am from Galicia). Spain is really diverse, from north to south, and from east to west. You can search information about the lifestyle of each region. I am in love with Galicia and I wouldn't change It. Quality of life is nice, weather with rain during winter but sunny in summer (not as hot as Valencia or Andalucía, which is extremely hot and dangerous). But overall, I think you will be good in Spain. When I was in Ireland I really missed my home (I wasn't bad in Ireland, is a safe country, friendly....). But I honestly think that Spain is unique, our timetables, poeple are more open and warm, our gastronomy really diverse (it's not only paella)...
@@adaalonso Aww, wow! Thank you so much for that response. You’ve given me so many useful insights there and made me feel a lot more confident. I really do appreciate that 🫶🏻 Cork is where I am from, but I’ve been living in South London for the past couple of years and it’s starting to make me a bit depressed 😅 there couldn’t be a better time for me to make a move really, with the way things are in England right now 😔
Hey Gawx, this was marvelous, I felt moved and it kind of reminded me of Andrei Tarkovsky and his films, where nature and its sounds are always at the main stage with the characters. Much love.
Enjoy it! Although your job comes across as original to me and makes me admire it as such, it does brings remembrance of Andrei and films like Solaris, The Mirror, or The Sacrifice. Here in Colombia we don't have chances to watch movies like that in the Cinema.
Crazy. I love your work! Just discovered it via the RU-vid start page! I’m feeling jealous and I’m admiring your work. That’s a great inspiration. Thank you so much for that! - Benni 24
the clip with the two guys working on the stairs and the cyclist staring them is just a one in a thousand moment, i cant figure how quickly you had to put the camera there, such an incredible work.
Si vuelves a España te recomiendo visitar Cádiz. Eres bienvenido
What a beautiful short film! The 4x3 aspect ratio works so welllll, every composition feels balanced. :) I was wondering, how did you achieve the shot at 0:07, with the water dramatically rising behind the boat?
Gawx is a filmmaking genius. The colors, the music choice, the visuals. Somehow he manages to make technically “random” clips into something amazingly beautiful and attention grabbing. Truly a genius, I aspire to be like gawx one day.
@@saintjames5816 I swear. I got this video recommended and people acting like it’s a Nolan movie or something lol. I could make the same video with my camera in Chicago or New York City and just put a bunch of cool shots together
Beautiful, I love the music also goes seamless with the image. For me the most interesting thing is how different perspectives we can have on this country, or maybe how much it has to offer. My memories are very different, I've got very little shots of majestic architecture and a-lot of memories of beautiful nature and small historic towns and villages.
Beautifully filmed, and you chose the perfect music. Spain is one of my favorite countries, and this reminds me of my first visit, backpacking alone in my early 20s. As with my first crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar all those years ago, this gave me goosebumps. Thank you.
Your work is so inspiring. Moreover, the way you can manipulate each and every frame to narrate a different story is just mindblowing. Please never stop uploading!! Love and guidance my guy
Absolutely beautiful! 😍 This is a feast for the senses. You are an incredible filmmaker! 👏🏽 How I wish I can also travel to the places you go to. Thank you for allowing us to see the world through your eyes 💖
this was breathtaking as usual but in a different way. a different flavor, more grandiose. kinda makes you realise how small you are in this world absolutely incredible
I really don't understand videography and the act of making something as beautiful as this, and i wish i did so i could give you a better compliment, but i can tell you i enjoy these videos thoroughly. Been following your work for a long time now, on both channels and seeing your growth as a creator was amazing. Keep up the great great work
