OMG, this piece is awesome. When I saw that spalted wood, I just knew it would end up as an amazing piece. I was not disappointed. I am relatively new to watching wood turning, but I find myself anxiously awaiting new work from you. I am also looking at the older videos. Your use of the different woods is masterful. I've never seen anyone turn a plank of wood into a bowl before, this is like magic! Its pottery on the wheel in reverse. I think you left out Wenge, the black brown wood. Beautiful bowl but what was more inspiring was the mastery of your materials and tools. You are a master craftsman. You know your materials, tools, techniques, and have artistic vision. Bravo!
Being completetly un-talented myself, I greatly admire your skills. But what fascinates me most is the beauty of your works. I sadly miss it in modern Western art. Asia seems to appreciate it far more and to have preserved the skills of creating beauty in many different ways. Thanks for sharing!

@@cweber7733 Just to speed things up, and there's no difference turning it over with wet or dry glue, but the tail stock must stick firmly to the wood.
