Spamcan at Swanage | 34072 on the Swanage Railway 12/07/2022 

I visited the Swanage Railway for the first time in 12 years in July 2022 and spent the day riding behind SR Battle of Britain 34072 257 Squadron. I'm a big fan of Bulleid Pacific's, especially in their original 'Spamcan' condition, and I'd never ridden behind 34072 before so it was an extremely enjoyable day.
The video starts at Norden where 34072 is running round its train ready for the run back to Swanage. Next, the loco is seen running round at Swanage itself. Moving onto Corfe Castle, 257 Squadron arrives and departs with a southbound service. The departure from Swanage is captured next, with other members of the home fleet, inlcuding SR U class 31806 and SR West Country 34028 Eddystone, visible in the sidings. I finished the day back at Norden where the final departure of the day is seen from the overbridge at the southern end of the station, with Corfe Castle on the right.
