The 2019 Spanish Indoor Athletics Championships was the 55th edition of the annual indoor track and field competition organized by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA). A total of 26 events were contested over two days on 16 and 17 February at the Centro de Atletismo VI Centenario in Antequera, Málaga.

Nope, having run track for years Ive seen a few "franks" come out of the "packaging" lol. And the set position rear shot wouldnt be exactly family friendly with 8 balls just hanging out like uvulas.

There's no advantage to wearing briefs to compete in versus something that runs down the legs. But wearing something skin-tight can make sense for sprints. It's just a style thing and partially based on social norms. For the same reason almost all women wear briefs as underwear and many men don't. In diving, keeping the legs free makes sense, but in running it's not necessary. You see some women compete in square-cut suits or even full-body suits (ex. Cathie Freeman 2000 Olympics, 400m final), but most women race in briefs. In swimming, having compression of the thighs and wearing a material with a lower drag coefficient that skin confers an advantage, so 2008-2009 full body suits were very popular. Now those are banned and both women and men compete in suits that go down to the knee. Both could have their legs exposed if they wanted, but none do for important competitions.
