For all those mad at the app......when will yall hold some of these artist accountable. There's no way i could be on a platform as large as URL and not have a YOUTube channel to promote myself, my battles, and give fans extra content. The problem is some.....SOME of these dudes (battlers) are lazy they'll complain to bloggers (WHO ARE FANS) BUT wont start up they own shit and create value for themselves but instead go to fans channels and give them all the credibility they could have on thier own. What a lot of these guys got to realize is that to even make it on any URL stage is an accomplishment as well as other stages also.The point is to not take it for granted and seize the opportunities and make them work for you.
I think the app is a potential breeding ground for laziness because the battlers are well-aware that their visibility has been cut in half. It becomes harder to care about your performances when you know less people are watching. URL's large youtube subscriber base was a driving force behind battlers wanting to go there, but now that visibility doesn't exist anymore (by design imo). Others just want the paycheck and the notoriety that comes with being labelled as a "URL battler". Too many see URL as battle rap's ultimate "king maker" and they become complacent once they are chosen. Eazy's ambition got him to where he is, and is what truly caused the rift between he and URL. URL proclaims "I made you!" and Eazy defiantly responds, "Then make another me!"

There r also those who believe battle rap is life 4 all battlers. I used 2 talk 2 Prep all the time when he would come 2 my old job...very respectful guy. He portrays something else n his battles & interviews. What he wants 2 do with his career has nothing 2 do with battle rap. The fans don't like 2 dissect things rightfully. Instead, they pick sides without knowing anything but what the battlers say. URL is quiet 4 a reason. They do their dirt, but could really expose some of these guys if they wanted 2. That would b bad business. Truth of the matter is, they can't force any1 2 battle. Ex. If they promise these guys certain battles, the opposing battlers have 2 agree 2 the battle. JC wants Lux; Lux said no. Some battlers don't trust the process either & know everything.
