I think it was not live, like they didn’t interact, maybe Elites cast just recorded their part and all of it were put together by editing, thats why the dont react to Diego or Bret answers
I was thrown out by how deep Diego’s voice is in this video then I remembered that he was playing a 14years old boy in On my block. Yes people Caesar is supposed to be 14-15!
He was 14-15 ar the start of the series they were freshman back then now they are in their final year, and with the two year time jump and him joining the santos Diego’s deep voice makes sense
I love how they act like the characters from the show like there personalities in the show match there real personalities 😭 it makes the show feel real
I like how when she said "Me cago en la leche", the editors dont beep the word "cago" which in spanish is a actually an offense word but when they say "shit" or "screw" (i don’t know bc of the beep) they do put the beep 😂
Diego is voice is so different from S1 on my block he is not kid anyone, i mean he wasn’t a kid back then ether, but yo he really sound like a full men now
It wouldn’t matter anyways, cause Spanish is different in different countries especially slang. I speak Brazilian Portuguese and when I hear European Portuguese, I literally can’t understand one word let alone slang. Well I may can understand a couple words like “amigo” or “obrigado”
THIS SPARKS JOY IN THE DEPTHS OF MY MEXICAN -AMERICAN HEART, I WAS TAUGHT AP SPANISH BY A NATIVE SPANISH SPEAKER FROM SPAIN :) THE HARDEST/ MOST CONFUSING SENIOR YEAR OF MY LIFE :0
I want to say that despite being a native Spanish speaker because I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, I do not understand the expressions, these are typical of Spain. I think they should have put the sentences in contexts.
I think the cast of 'Elite' was very bored in the interview with the cast the 'On My Block's and the Spanish language of Spain is very different from Latin American, tbhhh Latin American Spanish (language) is better
@@Cinderel-laa There is a difference between Spanish language (Spain) and Spanish language (latinoamerican), It is not the same language, they are different words, the grammar is different, and the speech is very different, just like British English with American English, they both speak English, but there are words that are written and pronounced differently, it is the same with Spanish, each country, each city has a different way of speaking with another, they are other slang.
In the Philippines in our native provincial language we use the word "Pijo" the same thing in Spain wow. It's like "Daw sa Pijo!" (You look arrogant cool)
Don’t forget there’s a language barrier people (the comments being rude to the cast of Elite) & they’re just asking a question, they’re not the ones guessing
I know most of the comments say this but damn the elite cast was so bleh. Literally no point in them being in this video, except clickbait. I'm not a fan of elite so haven't watched other interviews, but, I wonder if maybe they're just not very comfortable speaking in English. I sometimes have different personalities depending on the language I'm speaking.
Why did you even use the Spain flag? You could’ve at least use the Mexico one because They’re most likely going to speak the Mexico type of Spanish just like any Spanish-speaking country you go to is a little bit different
