Man i miss this so hard, the sound of the shin guards, the sound of the timer, the sound of the "AAAAYYY", just everything. Can‘t wait to get back in the gym.
Man I Love the Atmosphere Here! No Bad Blood, just two men Sparring and that's it. It's nice to see the control they have. There were points during the Sparring, where easily one guy could have knocked the other, or score a mean significant strike. I know that's not the way Sparring It's meant to be. It's meant to be like this. People developing skills in Real Life scenarios. But not throwing it, with all! Taking care of your Sparring partner It's a huge part of Sparring. Since they are trusting You their Body for You, to train with it. Unnecesarily, knocking out your Sparring partner, only shows You lack something inside of You. It shows that You have something sick inside of You, maybe... That You Need to boost Your sick ego, this way... Respect in Training, that's the Way it Is and should be.
Lately I've been obsessed with A.D, watching his old and new fights, his inspiration in my training and career here in Australia. And just now watching I dunno how many of his sparring vids and fight vids, I've figured out why he isn't as successful or look as powerful in the ring then he does in sparring. And it's because he looks so much more relaxed sparring the pressure is off which in turn lets him find his depth and placement easily oppose to being under the lights and feeling those butterfly's and excitement. Just shows even top level athletes feel the stress and can break from it. Still A.D your the man and the biggest help for a controlled striker, breaking your combos down are great!!!!!
Same here, I haven't been to proper training in a gym since beginning of October. All that has been achieved has been slowly going out of the window, can't imagine what condition I will be in once classes get reopen some time during spring or summer...
hopefully it all changes soon. a lot of people are in the same situation but it does feel bad to have to take a back step. keep doing what you can in the mean time.
its the pressure for you hes a good pressure fighter its good for everyone as its good experience with all the different styles come fight night there should not be too much surprises
i don‘t understand this way of sparring why do they just stand in front of each other taking the shots, instead of evasions, in and out footwork and so on? I mean yeah they have their guard up but the head still gets shaken and the brain rattled... what‘s the purpose of sparring like this taking punch by punch?
I’ve had similar encounters sparring ppl who let u hit them and then explode but majority of the athletes in the video were using all defensive tools so not sure what u mean
Forgive me for not knowing, but who is the thick set guy in the first two rounds? Because his timing and distance appreciation is fucking remarkable! Some of the best I have seen on this channel.
Ammari figuring out the Karate master. He still lets him lead the dance to a large extent but knows the triggers and correct responses. I don't know if he did it consciously, but staying on the ropes, throwing that roundhouse, and letting the opponent circle away from it at the cost of putting himself closer to the ropes, is genius -- use a passive counter game to make the opponent fight linearly, which is where you shine.
he does have a good fight iq and knows some tricky things just dont see it as much as sometimes you only see the pressure style but hes got some sneaky traps
How good are those booster gloves I'm thinking about getting a pair just booster boxing Muay Thai gloves in general want to use them for all around training I see them a lot in bang Muay Thai and this channel here too Siam boxing they must be good
they are really good look up booster fight gear uk. they are good for kickboxing the long wrist adds great protection it can be a pain in the clinch but it depends if you clinch with gloves or not, if not then no problem if you do use gloves to clinch they do some other styles with a shorter wrist which might prove more flexible in the wrist
It's just time and practice you just need to keep drilling have your guard right so you can still see what's coming. Practice coordination drills eventually it will just click
its just their way, normally touch gloves after something like if they recognise they hit someone a little too hard or to show you got me etc, or got hit in the nuts, clinch for too long (k1) that sort of thing.
😂😂😂Thanks mate! The excess weight seems to sit everywhere but on them lol. I kick hard in my weight category so I can live with them, just my legs maybe not pleasing to look at for ya
Love all of your sparring videos watching it always before training as a dose of motivation but here is my question - how many spars monthly would you suggest for the person which is for one year in k1 training on a amatour level (training k1 once a week and gym 4x weekly)? Respect for all the warriors!
thanks for watching, im glad you find the videos motivational for your own training, depends on your expectations, most spar once per week, but if your only training 1x per week what are your plans with training if it is to compete then training k1 4x and the regular gym 1-2x would be better
@@SiamBoxing thank you so much for the answer. I've started k1 training as a kind of cardio and the other reason was to raise self-confidence but quickly felt in love with that sport so I'll try to do it with your recommendation. Greetings! :-)
Можно уклониться прям в хайкик. В кикбоксинге меньше движений головой. Хотя в других видео у них были классные моменты, когда кто-то в спарринге отрабатывал уклонения.
love all these vids but i think it’s kinda dumb to spar this hard so often with no headgear, i mean i understand, i rarely use headgear myself but damn we only get one brain 🧠
Head guards reduce vision and increase rotational force hence recently deemed less safe. Shots going in on head aren’t too heavy tbf. Rare I come away buzzed like that can happen in some spars. Perfect level imo
@@BaiLangPromotions the shots to the head don’t have to be 100% power shots to ko someone, these guys are going in at least 60-80% usually and i can guarantee u one bad move and hello shadow realm and cte. i’ve seen a lot of diedricks fights, he’ll stand and take the heat and that’s just his style and but he could surely save his chin by not going and having a fight in the gym every week. he’s used to getting hit hard but it should be he doesn’t wanna be used to it and moves more.
Why is Lomachenko sparring with Muay Thai guys?? And just a nitpick the dude with the white Booster shin guards and Reyes gloves needs to take off his nose ring next time he's in the ring
Those big gloves make this nothing like reality. Without them - you couldn’t cover half of those shots and your hands wouldn’t take too much of the destruction of a non clean land. Good exercise though 👍
that is their style and they do use head movement there is some rounds where its just head movement and staying on the toes but for some that would maybe be boring to watch. so i usually put the rounds that may excite people a little more.
