You could have just used a short piece of pipe to fill the gap in the angle iron, but if you have a welder everything looks like a welding job! I want to get one actually.
Thank you for your comment. Yes you are absolutely right. I could’ve just put a piece of pipe there, but I have a welder and yes, it was an ideal welding job. It made an L turn into a square which was a perfect piece to mount the spare tire carrier on.get a welder it’s great. I don’t use it as much as I’d like to but boy is it handy and it’s a real fixer. You are so right. I leave the trailer at my mountain cabin so it’s safe there and every time I use it I just bring it back there so no I don’t have any security on the spare or the other tires. I do keep a nose Lock on the hitch however
