Great video! I absolutely love mine. I definitely wouldn't use it live since it's digital and that has potential to cause problems. I bought for using outside and if the power goes out, i can still use it since it has a battery.
I have a Boss Street Cube which is great for busking and gigging but I like this big baby and all the sounds you can get, though I don't think I'll be making my pedals redundant yet due to the reliability of the software with it. I like the built in battery does this come with it? Is it heavy?
Does not come with a battery unless you find a package deal. Even so, I'm finding it is well worth it.....when it all works as it should...mine is pretty stable but there are some folks who have had issues with the firmware downloads....and the Spotify connection is still not working for me.
would you recommend spark positive grid live for home use as well? how does it behaves in low volumes? i have a yamaha thr10 but im considering of buying a second amp (in case im playing with another person or i need a battery) and i prefer it to be more versatile? both for small gigs and home practice. this looks what im looking for especially having in mind how little space it takes, but im a bit worried its profile is more suitable for professional musicians and not for people like me that will use it outdoors twice a year. Do you thing it's gonna be a waste in a case like this?
Good question I'm not sure? Spark Live is it's own cabinet and at 150 watts I'll never want to make it louder but if you did there's 2 direct line outputs to connect to a larger sound system.
Do you have the noise fluctuation issue using that stand? I do. PG have told me I need it vertical on a flat surface to resolve the issue. They are working on a FW update.
There is a very bad major flaw i have just learned So hope you're sitting down On the back where it says input 3 & 4 L & R (STEREO) WELL guess what Its not stereo! it sums to mono There is no way to run any external stereo devices such as another modeling device like a Quad Cortex,Helix, external vocal device or anything else in stereo through this! Mine is going right back where i bought it This is a Major flaw!!!!!
