Valve timing solenoid , they have them on BMWs aswell also known as VANOS . Controls the oil flow to the cams to control the timing of the intake and exhaust exaust valves from what I read :)
Nice vid, I know a bit late to the party but that white crust on your coil packs usually means you have a voltage leak or arcing from the coil pack. Might want to look into replacing that pack if you're noticing performance issues. Just something to keep an eye out on.
Out of everything you have trouble with the box😂nice to see someone do something on there car and it's gone straight forward because it never does with me. Cant wait to see what you have got for 2020. Your not over the vxr though bro.
Great video mate,as said I would have put iridium I found such an different with my motorcycle. Like you said the magan is an track focused car and without spending big money you will not improve it as already an made car maybe something is needed I love see the car if you do chance cars try not to get something common.marry Christmas mate.
The thing your not sure about is vvt solenoid which is on cylinder number 4 not 1 hope that helps. as for which plugs to use I`ve always found iridium bkr8eix plugs as its a cooler plug but my mine is mapped though running 305bhp 349fbt
got a rs 265 cup edition one myself and getting a slight rumble when idle (does have a res delete too) but found this handy how to change the spark plugs though :)
Not picking flies as i love ur videos and attitude towards us (ur audience) but is ur lip lifting again on the back spoiler, i dont know the solution but watch u dont lose it mate... all the best and have a good en ❤
Loving the video's dude. But you should have gapped the plugs. Also if going to be mapped should have been adjusted to 0.6. 👌 keep the progress coming.
If you do one at a time you wont have the holes open to drop anything into. Also a gust of wind will blow all that rubbish on your valve cover into them.
Late to the party i know but those pencil coils really look like Ebay knock offs. Definitely not original Renault glossy flat tops (BERU). Always worth buying OEM.
