If you know what your looking for you can see the fuel line on the porcelain (faint black line). The line is a little higher then I would prefer but it runs much better. Still testing other jet combinations and needle shims so stay tuned (pun intended). 😂
I have found the 35/115 to be best for me at my lower elevations (under 1,000’ normally). I would suggest a 35/110 if your above about 2,500’ and just keep it stock (35/105) if your above 5,000 or just want the best fuel economy.
Yes, it has more torque, maintains a higher cruise speed, better on hills, runs cooler, top speed is about the same though (63 or 64). All that is with a 220lb rider at around 200’ elevation.
Am running the 115 main and like it a lot. Am considering running without spark arrestor at sea level but am concerned about a potential lean issue. Any thoughts please??
The plug looks good and clean it still looks a little lean but I really believe that it's our difference in elevation yours is at 200 above sea level mines at a thousand and I think five or six hundred it must Shurly make a difference The main thing is you're happy with the way your bikes running I'm really happy with the 35 pilot and the 110 main and I believe that that's our elevation difference being that we don't have the mixture screws on these carburetors. I wish I knew how to post a video I'd surely show you what my plug running looks like with the 35 pilot and the 110 main but I don't know how to do that I'm not that tech savvy.
I don’t think it’s lean from looking at the “fuel line” on the spark plug porcelain or by how it runs. Let me know if you try the 115 and how it performed for you.
@@MishMashMoto I tried probably six total combinations and I did try the 115 I tried the 115 with the 35 pilot and with the 38 they were just too rich for me where I live but out of all the combinations I'm staying at the 35 pilot and the 110 main it runs good all the way through I run really clean at 55 and 4th gear and shift into 5th gear and running 65 easy and I get power going up to it so it runs really good at where I'm at.
I have not tested the 115 above 250’ yet. The 110 would be the safe bet until we hear from someone who has tried the 115 at or above 1,000’. Either one is probably fine at 1,000’. You will get better MPG with the 110 vs the 115 if that matters to you.
@@Enoch-wi2qz I made no other adjustments except one small idle adjustment (idle RPM was slightly up after installing the 115 main jet). I show how to do it in the installation video (just a simple turn of the idle screw).
@@MishMashMoto Awesome, fantastic to know. I know I speak for everyone else here when I say, thanks so much for making these videos. You're practically the only person making good videos about this bike and I appreciate it a lot!
